Skimping extremely hard, subpar and watery beans. Overcharging $16 for something I wouldn’t even pay $5 for
Supposed to be authentic Mexican. Absolutely the driest, blandest tasteless Mexican ever!!! Super expensive for bad food!

I had been looking forward to trying Claudia’s for a while now. My first experience was not very positive. The person who was taking orders was extremely rude. I normally tip over 20%, and this time I tipped at 20% because I didn’t appreciate how she was treating BIPOC customers or speaking in English in response to Spanish-delivered orders. The food was also average. The tamales were adequate — not too dry. The beans I ordered on the side were runny and watered down, so they lacked flavor. The cheese was inauthentic, tasted like just shredded mozzarella. I was disappointed to say the least. I would travel to Monarca for tacos, Los Izotes in Lenoir for tamales, and Taqueria el Paso for other dishes.
Delicious and the gauc sauce and tomatillo yummy

I'm from the southwest and accustomed to real Mexican food. I can say hands down this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The birria is fantastic.
The carne asada tacos are fantastic and the birria is delicious.

This place absolutely lied about what comes in the burrito. There was onion, cilantro, pepper, and tomato and WARM LETTUCE all in it, when it was supposed to be rice, beans and meat. The nachos also were supposed to only have meat and cheese, and came out with all sorts of veggies too. They told me guac didn’t come on the burrito (it did) and upsold me on another order of guac, which only came with three SOFT chips in it. Is this real life?! If. I hadn’t gotten take out I would have demanded my money back.
A life saver after a cold wet night on Table Mountain. Excellent Birria Tacos and Tacos de Asada, a little out of the way but it is well worth the trip for the friendly staff and enjoying some quality authentic Mexican food!
There isn't alot of options in the area when it comes to good Mexican food but this place has never failed to please me! Claudia is so sweet and the food is great! I can't help but at least buy a tamale when I'm nearby because I'm hooked!!
