This was really dissapointing. The food was bland, the portions were miniscule, and the food looked nothink like the pictures. This felt like a hispanic gramma making lunch for a young American who is super picky.

Portions are too small for the price and the food is just as flavorful elsewhere. I am disappointed tonight. I pay $10 less at el ranchero & get double the amount of food. This is why I don’t try new things. The salad was literally two small bites worth of lettuce. The carnitas, I can tell are not fresh. Tamales & cheese dip were good.

By all means stay away. The most disappointing Mexican food I have ever eaten. The lack of taste with the lack of food for the price was again disappointing. Porto Nuevo if you are wanting Mexican in Spruce Pine.

There's Mexican then there's Claudia's!! Her food is more than just your typical Mexican experience. The restaurant is always spotless and she makes her own desserts that are delicious.
