I was told that the place was closed or not open. The sign says open. They didn't close for another hour. Had other customers eating...one older white man and two older white ladies. I am not full white & don't look white....plus my mom that Is white had no issue going in there.

The menu presented everywhere online is inaccurate, it reflects pricing pre Covid. According to the owner other folks have uploaded these "fake" menus with incorrect pricing. My order was for 2 scrambled eggs, country ham, grits and toast. They charged $12.59 for country ham and then an additional $2.59 for grits. That's $15.18 for one plate. The menu uploaded to this site says that grits are included but it was not. I ordered 2 of these plates, a BLT, A livermush, egg & cheese sandwhich, and a side of grits. No drinks, and my total was $51.43 - BUYER BEWARE!

I know prices are a bit crazy right now but for 4 people to eat breakfast and it's $51 in my opinion that's a bit ridiculous.

Excellent food. They have liver mush and where I live now you can't hardly find it so we ordered it. It was delicious. The biscuits and gravy reminded me of what my grandma used to make.
