El Ranchero is hands down the best, authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. From the service, to delicious margaritas without all the pre-made sugar nonsense to the most amazing food. It sails above any other in Mitchell/Yancey county. If you are searching to tantalise your tastebuds…you must check this place out. To top it off, you’ll be delightfully surprised with your bill. It’s absolutely fair pricing!

We are always pleased with the great selection of dishes, the freshness of all ingredients and the fantastic service. And the slightly spicy mango salsa is a great add on.You will not be disappointed!
