BEST Cuban Sandwich that is big & thick with pork, ham, cheese, pickles, and mustard. Delicious, moist, and juicy. Served with chips, salsa, and a side (coleslaw, 3 bean or cucumber salad). The sandwich was large enough to split. We chose to dine outside on a beautiful breezy day (inside & carry-out also available). Large menu with copious options. Closed Sunday's otherwise opened from 11:30am-7 or 7:30pm. Highly recommend.Parking: Free parking lot on lower street with stairs or walking along the road. Limited street parking, but if you are picking up food, there are 2 designated spots right in front of Tropical Grill.

This is some of the best food I have ever had.I had the mango garlic chicken and it was soo good! Lot of garlic though! The plantains were delicious (normally I'm not a fan of plantains, but these were awesome!)The owner came and spoke with us multiple times and she was so friendly and helpful! If you are in Spruce Pine, you must check it out!Not a lot of seating, but there's plenty of places around town to take it if there aren't any tables available - a nice little grassy area right down the hill with picnic tables. .

I'm always looking for a good Cuban Sandwich and found one here. The salsa served with the chips was awesome. If you come, you must try that. We purchased some to-go as well. The side Bean salad was delicious and that's not something I would typically order.Service was excellent; the chef is available for questions. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying something else.I was also digging the background music. Can't go wrong with Toby Mac!

Delicious food in downtown spruce pine. Loved the colorful salsa chips. Ordered shrimp nachos and had leftovers for two days! Massive servings and great prices. Will definitely be returning! Lots of precious Knick knacks inside ranging from bags, keychains, t-shirts, and more.

So this little place is a diamond in the rough. The food was very good, and the outdoor seating is a little interesting since it's right on the road. However, it's a neat little place tucked away in a small mountain town.

Unfortunately this place was understaffed when we visited, The was a long wait for our meals. My lady found some small pieces of plastic string in her salad. Something in the food made my stomach a bit upset. The management needs to work on improving these things.

Okay my new favorite spot in town. Cute and cozy. Authentic and fresh. I thought prices were high at first but when I realized how fresh and the love that went into the food we didn’t mind. Best salsa ever!!!! Absolutely incredible and the staff was super nice. Owner and waitress both made suggestions to us and even let us try some new dressings she had.

The food was amazing. Something completely different for me and my husband. I got the mango garlic chicken. He got the Jerk Hamburger. We shared the jalapeño poppers and some chips with their house salsa. ❤️❤️ I hope we get to come back to North Carolina again so we can come back.
