Best flounder in Stanley County, fresh and fried to perfection. Have had had all kinds of meets and vegetables and never had a bite I didn’t enjoy. Service is excellent as well. .
Its Diner food. Don’t have high expectations. The basic southern style dishes are hit and miss. Breakfast is fine, it’s very hard to mess up eggs, sausage and toast. The fried chicken breading was good but the portion is small. Waiting 30 minutes for a leg and thigh at the portion size served was underwhelming. The fried chicken sandwich has good portion size with zero flavor. If you are looking for a quick meal at a reasonable price then it’s a good place to eat.
Stopped in Wayside for lunch after work today. The service and food were amazing. We also got some really good laughs from the 5 guys sitting at the table next to us. Long story short 3 of them ordered a piece of chocolate pie and the one guys pie was still FROZEN solid. The waitress ended up microwaving it 2 separate times so he could eat it.
