Great portion sized steaks and ribeyes cooked and cut well. The sides were wonderful too. Price was at expected range. Service was great. Kind of a 70s 80s restaurant feel, but clean. No problems finding nearby parking.

My family lives local and have raved about this place. We have tried going for years and never could. Finally was able to go and the food was awful. I mean that. No flavor. No seasoning at all. My family felt so bad for taking us there after they had hyped it up so much. I felt so bad my dad spent so much money. It’s not cheap at all. My aunt said that the owner passed away recently she thinks. Maybe it has just gone down hill.

Meat lovers rejoice. How in the Wide, Wide World of Sports did a place this great end up in Stanley. Been twice and not disappointed. Wife always gets the Filet. I've had the Ribeye and the Salmon. Mighty tasty. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Tonight I felt really bad for my husband. He tried to plan a nice date night and spent alot of money on dinner and it was a waste. Both of our steaks were extremely undercooked, cold and no flavor. The bread they served was rancid, and the fried pickles were dripping grease, yet they weren't hot. Our waitress never asked us once how our food was, when you could plainly see that we weren't eating this food. The little salad bar was good and they have good sweet tea. People work hard for their money and The Woodshed should be ashamed at what they serve. We would've been better off going to Burger King and getting a whopper jr. Lesson learned, never again.

After Christmas we were looking g for a place to enjoy a really nice dining experience ..we arrived early and had a small wait....our waitress was friendly and eager to help us enjoy our night.....when I ordered my steak I said we'll done with no pink when our food arrived my wife steak was perfect and mine was completely pink ..they cooked it more 2 times each getting it worse .we just left with no offer to help us ......so you guys had a chance to make it right however did not....a great night that ended badly ..not at all fair.
