Went on New Years day to go hiking. Winery was closed for the holiday but when we got back, the gals had opened up with so many hikers out enjoying the day. Great way to finish off a 6 mile hike with a glass of wine. So great of them to open and very nice to talk with. Trails are awesome too. Went all the way to the falls. Perfect start to our year.
Really fun experience. Nice folks. Some nice wines. Walked away with some 2017 Cabernet. We'll be back.
Lovely place.
Very good wine. Kid friendly. Simple / easy hiking trails for all ages. The staff were very laid back. We brought a cooler with sandwiches and snacks for the kids. Again, the wine was very good - especially Wayne’s Cuvée (worth the extra $3).
This winery was great! Very pretty with nice outdoor seating and their wine was great!
I recently visited this winery with friends for girls weekend and from the amazing staff, breathtaking views and the best of friends. The scenic landscapes of rolling hills and vineyards created a perfect backdrop for a relaxing day. Highly recommend this experience!
A lively winery, really cute inside, great wine, lovely owner, bring your lunch and enjoy some wine outside, and definitely enjoy the beautiful hiking trails right from the property! The Klondike trail with the painted dam, loop and Carter Falls were beautiful.
Spent a lovely Labor day afternoon here, enjoying great craft beer and fun music. Beautiful setting, very friendly staff.
Amazing hosts. Good wine. Pets are welcome.
Beautiful vineyard and tasting room! Cynthia and Wayne are amazing! They are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! They treat you like family!!! I got the unbaked chardonnay and the sunset blush! I love the new sunset blush bottle! Looking forward to coming back!

I love this winery. My group and I enjoyed the hiking trail to Carter Falls. When we came back from the falls, we were greeted by the friendly owners/staff, and the customer service was superb. They gave us some background history about the winery and gave us other winery recommendations found in the Elkin area. The winery itself is beautiful and the wine selection tasted really good. Try the sunset blush wine!
Great hiking trails. Clean and quiet. Well marked
We enjoyed our first visit to Grassy Creek Vinyards! The wine tasting was reasonably priced and I was able to try 5 different wines. They had something for everyone and beer for those who did not feel like wine! It is kid/dog friendly and had live music and food when we were there. We really enjoyed the covered area down from the main building so we could be in the shade and enjoy sitting and enjoying the breeze. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Love it. Great venue with good wine and music most weekends in season.
Beautiful place! The mural is awesome!
