I tasted 4 reds and a rose. I believe it was $19 For the tasting flight. My two favorites were the Red Barn blend and they did an excellent job with it. Next, the Barbera is smooth but full of flavor. The rose - I wish I bought two bottles instead of one. I was able to enjoy myself since they allowed my dog and even gave her a dog biscuit. Great relaxed atmosphere! Big iced-water cooler with cups near the back was a thoughtful touch. It’s wineries like this that you appreciate and hope to return to taste the next harvest.

A solid lineup of whites, reds and semi-sweets. We had all 10 of them and repeated a few. Very pleased with them all. Very cute venue, friendly staff, dog friendly and bring your own food although they offer some as well. Also have beer. Their 4.9 rating is well-deserved. Amazing how far people have come to be here. Check out the maps!

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Wine Country!

Grassy Creek Vineyard & Winery was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warmest, most welcoming staff — genuinely kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly dog-friendly (which made the experience even more special for us!).

One of the best surprises was that dogs are allowed inside the tasting room — a rare and wonderful treat. Our pups were spoiled with attention, and we were too — sipping delicious, locally-crafted wines while enjoying an outstanding cheese board featuring regional selections that paired perfectly with each pour.

What really sets Grassy Creek apart is its stunning location. After an invigorating hike to a peaceful waterfall right on the property, we returned to the winery to relax, recharge, and enjoy the fruits of North Carolina’s wine country. The whole experience felt perfectly curated yet completely down-to-earth.

If you love great wine, beautiful nature, and friendly vibes (especially if you’re traveling with a dogs), this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful place. The staff are amazing. Enjoyed wonderful music by JVC. My daughter's bringing me here for Mother's Day was perfect. My sweetest boy Enzo (my dog) was even able to come. A+++

Grassy Creek Vineyard is a hidden gem in Elkin! The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, with beautiful views and a cozy tasting room. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable—they made our wine tasting experience really enjoyable. I especially loved the Red Barn Blend and the Creekwater White. It’s a perfect stop on the Yadkin Valley wine trail, and the surrounding trails are great for a little walk before or after your tasting. Highly recommend for a relaxing afternoon!

Great access to trails & live music area outside. The hat man was still in the woods, reciting my full name & social security number, in the voice of my deceased mother. Haven’t encountered him in 5 weeks, so it was disappointing. But the wine was very good!

Nice place for a hike on the beautiful trails all round. You can sit back and relax afterwards and enjoy the excellent wines made from the vineyards on site.

Went on New Years day to go hiking. Winery was closed for the holiday but when we got back, the gals had opened up with so many hikers out enjoying the day. Great way to finish off a 6 mile hike with a glass of wine. So great of them to open and very nice to talk with. Trails are awesome too. Went all the way to the falls. Perfect start to our year.

Really fun experience. Nice folks. Some nice wines. Walked away with some 2017 Cabernet. We'll be back.

Very good wine. Kid friendly. Simple / easy hiking trails for all ages. The staff were very laid back. We brought a cooler with sandwiches and snacks for the kids. Again, the wine was very good - especially Wayne’s Cuvée (worth the extra $3).

I recently visited this winery with friends for girls weekend and from the amazing staff, breathtaking views and the best of friends. The scenic landscapes of rolling hills and vineyards created a perfect backdrop for a relaxing day. Highly recommend this experience!
