The chicken and catfish are amazing and the workers are the sweetest

My husband, who was a long time customer placed an order tonight for 2 full meals( salt and pepper cat fish and chicken tenders with 2 extra sides of large hush puppies) for pick up. it cost $55.00's almost twice what it used to cost and was asked to tip for pick up service. when I read the menu the pricing didn't make sense as catfish was the special of the day @ 11.69 the chicken was 13.98 and the menu said a side of hush puppies was 3.45??? when I spoke to the manager she said the large order of hush puppies is 8.45( for bread) and that he didn't specify the special, but they didn't ask either. If I knew he was going to be charged 22.00 for an un seasoned catfish I would have said no-this is not fresh seafood . He bought the same items at a Competitors restaurant and it only cost 30.00 for everything, same amount of food, tasted as good but for a lot less. They have lost our business.

My grandmother wanted to go here to get some fish so I said sure I'd go give it a shot. I'm glad I did! The very nice waitress quickly took our order and brought us some hush puppies to eat while we waited. I got the senior salt and pepper catfish filet(wish they had whole) with a baked potato. The fish was lightly battered and tasted like it was fresh from the sea! The oil was definitely clean! The baked potato was a baked potato. Lol Grandma got the regular catfish filet and she it was good as well. Overall a great experience food and service and we'll definitely be back!
I understand food prices have went up, but that doesn’t mean change more for your order and get way less in quantity. The amount of food to the price does not add up. Plus the bake potato was not even hot.
Our waitress absolutely amazing. I ordered whole flounder a special way and it was perfect. Every was fresh and a great meal!

We use to live in Hiddenite about 30yrs ago.We loved eating at Captains Galley. Every time we travel past Statesville we always make sure to make time to eat there.They have the best seafood. After all of these years you still have the best food.

We enjoy this place so much. You can't ask for better food at a fair price. The staff is exceptional. So friendly and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful decorated also, clean and neat. Couldn't ask for a better place to have a wonderful meal.

Was very disappointed in the food my husband ordered crab cakes they looked like something from the frozen section of the grocery store he said they tasted like it too I had steak 10oz tasted like the put it on the grill with no seasoning at all very bland service and atmosphere was good but just o er all disappointed
