Hidden Gem in Summerfield! Traveling back and forth to Greensboro and stopped at a nearby business for a necessity and could not believe my eyes when I saw this place it was too good to be true. Joy was delightful and so helpful and filled me up on yummy seafood, even got the senior discount when I mentioned my mother who was so delighted for both the discount and the seafood. This is only about 7 minutes from the Cardinal neighborhood if you live in Greensboro so check it out!

The shrimp connection is a great and convenient supplier of fresh seafood in Greensboro. They have shipments a couple days a week and not just from NC coast. Not to mention their seafood and prices are competitive and even better quality than the grocery stores in the area. When I was in they had fresh scallops, so fresh in fact they gave me a sample right then and there.... It was perfect!! I can't wait to swing by the next time we need fresh seafood.

We stumbled on this tiny seafood store and feel so lucky to have discovered it. The local fresh shrimp is amazing, and they have amazingly fresh fish from up and down the East coast. Unfortunately they are only open on Fridays and Saturdays, so unless you're lucky like we were, you'll need to plan ahead. Well worth the trip to go here!
Unless I'm physically at the beach, The Shrimp Connection is now my go to spot for anything coming from the sea.I picked up a half bushel of Stump Sound oysters from them for a Superbowl party. The oysters were fresh, briny, delicious, and at a fair price! I never knew there were so many oyster eaters in my friend group.If you're searching for quality/specialty without the hassle of driving to the coast, give The Shrimp Connection a shot. You won't regret it.
