I watched a blonde boy by the name of jack walk into the restaurant with a roaring smile he mischievously walked to the bathroom and I started to hear sounds of war and a stench that could kill a horse.
We have visited Beauchaines multiple times over the past 23 years, but the recent negative reviews made us hesitate to take our large party there last night. However, I'm glad we did! Service, drinks, and food were excellent as always. Our party had crab dip, bread, and Brussels sprouts for apps, wedge salad, filet mignon, crab cakes, salmon, Patrice's pasta with shrimp and scallops, shrimp and grits, kids' fried shrimp, cocktails and wine, and both desserts that...
I’ll preface this to say I usually don’t say anything about restaurants, but I’ll join the chorus of new reviews that say the kitchen is absolute amateur hour. I don’t know of a nicer way to say this, but I sincerely hope this place makes changes and survives because other than the food, it’s great. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff was mostly great, other than some young ones that probably knew what was going down and were sad. What can you expect from staff faking...
