I've been meaning to review Diver for the past month, but I forgot until we returned today. I was not the only one there today waiting out the nearby power outage (it's an unusual, below-freezing day). Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. My kids and I stayed warm, enjoyed delicious food and coffee (hot chocolate for them), and got through all of the day's schoolwork. The views of the intracoastal waterway were absolutely beautiful. I cannot recommend this place more!

The perfect spot for coffee lovers! The espresso was smooth, and the latte art was a nice touch. The ambiance is cozy, with just the right mix of background music and chatter to make it feel welcoming. The staff was friendly and quick with orders, even during the morning rush. I also loved their selection of pastries—fresh and delicious! Definitely my new go-to coffee spot. Highly recommend!

Love this place! The juices are phenomenal and I’m partial to the beet one. Services is friendly and great. Sometimes it takes a bit to get your order but it’s bc it’s FRESH!
This was a great find on my visit to the coast. Interesting location and very tasty food with reasonable prices. Many types and choices of coffee and beverages. Indoor and outdoor seating with scenic views. Quite a gem!

So long as other thrilled guests haven’t already occupied the spaces, there are many nooks and crannies within the building, upper level deck, or picnic-table-filled yard to facilitate your casual business meeting, date, work, or family rendezvous.
Matt is a top-notch owner/operator and it is apparent he and his management team take special care and pride in selecting only the finest personnel to provide well crafted food and beverages, resulting in an overall outstanding customer service experience.
Surf City is lucky to have Diver Surfside Cafe and it will certainly be exciting to experience what they have in store for the future!
Parking: Decently ample parking, but can absolutely fill up quickly when everyone wants to enjoy the pearl of Surf City at the same time. Some spots (to the right of the building) I would recommend for small vehicles only, or only skilled/confident drivers attempting to park their large SUVs and trucks. Other spots are so large that a huge Sprinter van with a full assortment of travel accessories can easily enter and exit.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid-friendly. Some in-house toys were spotted on the first floor. Child management is a breeze with the opportunity to keep small kiddos corralled in some of the more secluded seating areas throughout the building, if needed.
Matt and his crew serve a great product with a pleasant attitude. Will be back.

Traveling through town and found out this little gym from Maps, had the avocado toast ! Simple, clean ingredients prepared beautifully with Perfect balance of richness from the avocado and tang from the goat cheese, matched perfectly with a delicious medium cooked egg To order.
The staff was warm and welcoming, and the café has an awesome layout with a mix of beautiful seating over the river and quaint cafe seating , yet close to the beach and off the beaten path.
Great spot for coffee, smoothie bowls & to get some work done!
