High Waters Bar And Grill

Server was kind. It’s downhill from there. Appetizers came out, no plates, no napkins…lost server for a while so just made due. Entrees arrived, no condiments, missing a side salad. No refills til we were done eating. All fried food tasted like it was fried with the fish. And this is weirdest part, I had to leave our table and go up to the barracks to sign the credit card machine as the receipts weren’t printing. Not great,

Great food and even better service. We loved the vibe so we didnt mind that the AC was broken inside but felt bad for the poor staff who were drenched in sweat but still managed to take such great care of us esp our bartender Frannie as sweat literally dropped off her. We loved it and highly recommend but to the owner do better, fix your AC to take care of your staff!!

An Experience to Remember!! DINE HERE!!
My boyfriend and I sat at a high top table there this evening. I was concerned I wouldn’t get the volume of crab legs my soul was craving; after much hesitation but simply asking the questions, everything was above and beyond our expectations. Sydney was the ONLY waitress on the floor, running the show in FOH. She was quick, extremely attentive and had an upbeat attitude, defeating the circumstances that could have weighed her down. She communicated with the owner on our order, and we were again met with care and accommodation. He was cooking in the back running the BOH show, still making the effort to show his face out front. He did a table touch, introduced himself, we shared our gratitude on such delicious food and their benevolent service. Don’t miss out on what could be YOUR next dining experience at Highwaters. As a current restaurant manager, I am definitely impressed!! Thank you all so much for such a wonderful dining experience. The owner and waitress took care of us, so we took care of them! :)

No AC. 86° inside. Everything else was great.

Don't bother. There are better places on the island. It's hot and and sticky inside. The food tastes like it's from the freezer section at the grocery store. The only real attraction of this place is its convenience when you're staying at the Loggerhead next door.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Terrible terrible terrible. Was told we would be seated but wait a few minutes for service. That's fine, we understand. However, it took 20 minutes for us to be greeted. Drinks were awful. Iced tea tasted like bandaids. We wiped the table with napkins and they came up dirty and brown. The place is so dirty. Every table in there was waiting on service.

Food was terrible. Chips were hard and had no salt and no flavor. Same can be said about the fries. It took 50 minutes for our food to come out after ordering. They said they were understaffed. That's no excuse for dirty faculties, bland food, and zero service. They would have been better off closed.

I can not express this enough, DO NOT go to this place, there is so much more but I'll leave it there. We left so much food there.

This place is AWESOME! The food is great. The service is really friendly and wonderful. I would eat every meal here if I could.

Great experience. We were greeted and seated immediately. Fast, friendly, and attentive service from Kayden(unsure on spelling). Everyone enjoyed their nachos and burgers.

waited 10 mins for server. actually had to ask host. nachos were gross and not the ingredients listed on menu. fish n chips are 23.00! fries were cold and hard. waited 15 mins just to get change from our 100.00. manager never said goodbye or thank you when he was looking right at me leaving 5 ft away! place use to be great.. not any more

To be honest, it after hours to order food, but the hostess was very generous and offered us seats and served us awesome food. She AND her staff were so inviting and I only hope we tipped her well enough.

Good food and service. Fish wrap and fried pickles were amazing! Cocktails could've had less ice and more booze. I got the fried flounder and it was delicious but heavy on the grease. They were out of the ice cream to accompany our chocolate lava cake, waitress said she would discount it as a result. She didn't and I forgot to check until after we were home.
