Walking up, they opened the door for me and my family and welcomed us. Food was excellent. The shrimp po boy was delicious. Burgers were amazing as well!

Shrimp poboy was ok, fries were undercooked, soda was watered down. I understand summer is a busy time but if you can’t take the pressure or make something as simple as French fries maybe reconsider working the cook line.

The food was delicious as always. Honestly, that was the only good thing about it.

Our waitress was nice but she did the bare minimum as far as her job goes. It was not busy while we were there. I'm not sure why we weren't offered refills on our drinks or why she didn't come take the stack of food baskets we had on our table. We sat at a 2 seat table so space was limited.

The restaurant was filthy and run down. From the tables & chairs to the windowsills and floor. It all was in need of a good cleaning. I didn't bother to use the restroom and went elsewhere after we left. I can't say for sure but I doubt it was clean either.

We've been to this location several times over the past 3 years. It just keeps getting worse each time. We won't be coming back to this location anymore.

We love hwy 55. Food is always delicious and service is always great. It is a very laid back beach burger joint. Prices are the best in Surf City. It cost about the same as McDonald’s and these are quality burgers. And they have the cutest kids meal that is served in a car. Great place for families.

Like all HWY 55's, the atmosphere is oldschool and traditional. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The burgers are great and I highly recommend the tots or a hotdog. The location has never been too busy to seat us and the food comes out quickly. Parking can be a bit confusing because of the signs placed by the beach shop next door. The lot is shared between the two.

Our waitress Addy was extremely nice and kept up with our table, the chef Maddox greeted us immediately while walking in with such genuine enthusiasm. This was such a nice experience as we had just left from Margheritas in a terrible mood (we waited 40 minutes when told 20 min). These 2 employees alone helped put me in a better mood and the food made everything so much better. This is such a great eatery, best one I've ever been to. I really hope other people get to experience their kind hospitality.
