Been here several times, wait can be longish when busy. Staff are nice and polite. They do not hover over you when you're eating. While there, some patrons who were known to staff because they were regulars. Shrimp were better than we expected. There's a window as well but I've only done dine in. We've seen the surf city meter maids on golf carts giving tickets and checking plates for the on street parking. Free parking in the lot, don't get a ticket!
We love hwy 55. Food is always delicious and service is always great. It is a very laid back beach burger joint. Prices are the best in Surf City. It cost about the same as McDonald’s and these are quality burgers. And they have the cutest kids meal that is served in a car. Great place for families.
Like all HWY 55's, the atmosphere is oldschool and traditional. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The burgers are great and I highly recommend the tots or a hotdog. The location has never been too busy to seat us and the food comes out quickly. Parking can be a bit confusing because of the signs placed by the beach shop next door. The lot is shared between the two.
