Visiting my daughter in NC. Took day drip to Surf City. My daughter ordered seafood boil that they forgot to add the clams. However, the waitress apologized and brought them out to add. Seasoning on the side which was a little different, shrimp was dry. Fried oysters and fried shrimp cooked well, lacked seasoning . Dozen steamed clams were disappointing and smaller than my local seafood buffet. My grandson enjoyed a chicken sandwich and fries. I had a steak and cheese on toasted roll and fries. No taste, lacked seasoning. The bread however was delicious. I asked waitress to please place other half of sandwich, she came back with bill. Threw my food out. This place is not cheap. The waitress was very attentive. When I brought it to her attention she apologized. Atmosphere is excellent. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back.

Got here before the crowd rolled in for dinner. The food was great. One favorite was the bang bang shrimp. And fried green beans. Our server was nice and personable. Would definitely eat here again.

Took my 97 year old father-in-law on Wednesday around 4. We both got the shrimp basket and it was more than either of us could finish. Very reasonable, the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Great view of the marsh and lots of birds to watch while you eat.

The servers were very friendly, but the food was terrible. Everything seemed like it had been cooked previously and reheated. The “fresh” green beans were just heated canned beans and they used pickled garlic. I got fried pickles and the fish tacos. The pickles were good. But only ate one taco and still felt really gross after.

Reuben? Not sure they know. Even for eastern NC it was way less than average. Sauerkraut sandwich would have been more accurate. I don’t enjoying talking bad about local businesses but cmon man! WTAF? Just do better, local review. 1/32 of an inch slice of maybe corned beef that doesn’t even cover the bread…..embarrassing. And soggy fries? It’s not hard.

Finally pet-friendly seafood restaurant with pretty view!! Service was great! From the host to the waitstaff, everyone was amazing and helpful. It's my first time trying deviled crab and I like it. Blackened flounder and blackened shrimps were good. It's not too salty (blackened seafood tends to be overly salty and theirs is not. So I really like it). I will definitely come back if we make another trip to Top Sail Beach/Surf City area. I will also add this restaurant for pet-friendly restaurants.
