Low Tide Steak House & SandBar

Awful experience. Waited over an hour to be sat at a table when told 35-45. Once seated at the BAR not our table, at that, we waited for food for close to another hour. My dinner and my partners both were cold. Drinks stayed empty, the servers almost had to playing a game of how to ignore us. The “steamed” broccoli was wasn’t even cooked or washed. Crab cakes were rotten and the mahi and cold and spongy in the center. We both did not eat our plate paid and left as fast as we could, what an awful experience. You couldn’t pay me to go back.

AWFUL! The blonde curly haired girl at the front should not be at the front host stand. She told us a 1 hour wait and we had to be there within 10 minutes. She texted at 6:21 saying to head that way. I got there at 6:25 trying to speak to her, at 6:29 she finally listened to me just to tell me they gave my table away because I didn’t “speak up”. She advised I could get back on the list. I had all my kids with me and wasn’t going to wait another hour. 10 out of 10 don’t recommend unless you want to deal with careless people that are RUDE

We went last night and the height of tourist season and the place was slammed. The management did a great job keeping people moving, and we were seated well before we thought we would be. The server did a great job, the food was perfect, and our entire dinner for seven took about an hour total. Great job, low tide!

Burgers and Seared Scallops were very good. The thin cut steak fries were good too. A different take on fries. NC Craft Brews on tap. Great atmosphere and wait staff. First time visit. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

First and most importantly, the service is nothing but amazing! Our waitress was Paige. We love her personality and she is very attentive! The food was filling and delicious. The overall vibe was comforting. We will be making this restaurant our go to when we move here this summer! ❤️

This establishment is an utter disgrace. The so-called manager, whom we’ve dubbed “pocket man,” stands idly by with his hands perpetually shoved in his pockets, contributing absolutely nothing to assist his overburdened staff. Not once has he exhibited the basic courtesy to introduce himself to patrons. The sheer gall of this place is astounding—they dare to charge exorbitant prices of $50-$60 for subpar steaks, as if they were a high-end establishment like Ruth’s Chris. Save yourself the frustration and make the drive to Wilmington, where genuine quality and service await. This excuse for a steakhouse, being the sole option near the beach, operates with blatant indifference, knowing they have no competition. It’s nothing short of daylight robbery. They offer absolutely nothing of value, not even the simplest gesture of appreciation like a “thanks for coming in.” Prepare to be neglected and disrespected for the majority of your visit, just as we were this evening. Avoid this place at all costs.

First and last I will visit this Restaurant food poor and overprice, they serve what they show at the menu , again overpriced and the quality was a disappointment example I order a Mahi plate the bought me a little piece of fish totally over spicy seasoned If have allergies to spicy I could die.
Totally will not recommend this establishment.

First time here. Atmosphere is low-key simple decor, casual attire with live music and bar. It is family friendly here. We were greeted immediately upon entering. Our server was very courteous and attentive. The ribeye steak was outstanding. The prices for the various steaks are quite high but given the quality (Best steak I've ever had ) I would consider it justified. The sautéed onions and mushrooms were bland. Loaded fries appetizer was good, ranch dressing in minuscule containers with it was extremely runny, but tasted good. The baked potato was dry. Was disappointed mashed potatoes are not on menu. The only accompaniments for the loaded baked potato were sour cream and butter. Salad bar was self-serve and tiny. Skewered grilled shrimp appetizer was not bad. Overall a great place to come if you're craving a steak.

This is the best restaurant in town

We had high hopes for this place, but sadly it had really mediocre and bland food. A salad bar seemed like a blast from the past and I do not recommend it. I got the grilled mahi and my fiancé got the bourbon bacon burger. The fish was cooked alright, but it was something anyone could easily make at home. The French fries were soggy. I would probably come back for a drink at the bar because the atmosphere and servers were nice!

We have been here twice and ordered different item on the second trip. The service and staff are excellent but the food isn't consistent with the prices. Don't get me wrong, the food was okay but prices are too high for okay food.
