Besides the exceptional lobster Mac and cheese and lobster grilled cheese, the service was exceptional starting with the owner. First he started by taking our order at the cash register and then he found the time to wonder the tables checking in on the customers. What really stood out for me though was the owners appreciation of his staff. I heard him on a couple occasions thank the waitresses and tell them they were doing a great job. While obviously I want good food, this is what makes the place special!!

Awesome! Great experience, great people and great lobster rolls. If you love New England lobster rolls and chowder you will love this place and they have Maine Beer Company beer! It was great and the owners are sooo friendly and helpful. Delicious.

Maine Lobstah Shack located in Surf City, NC has a small menu. I got the little lobster roll with butter on the side which came with chips and Cole slaw, and ordered the cup of lobster bisque which came with oyster crackers. Yes, it was expensive but worth it and delicious. They even bought me a small sample of the New England clam chowder and it was very good. Oh, and by the way, the view from the picnic table was great. I will be back.

Lobster in the beach sitting outside in the sun. Perfect. The owner and entire crew are very friendly and helpful. Appears to always have a line when I go, but it moves fast. They will also bring out soup samples to people waiting in line..pretty cool. Will always be back for more lobster.

One of the best meals I've ever had! The lobster rolls are delicious and the bisque is TO DIE FOR!! Great selection of local beers, gorgeous views, and our waitress, Olivia, went above and beyond for us! We felt truly spoiled! Even our picky-eating 4 & 1yr olds loved it! I'm so glad we picked to eat here while traveling through, and can't recommend it enough!Almost forgot... THE WHOOPIE PIES! Holy moly, those suckers are a treat you can't beat!10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
