We had never tried Max's Pizza until today. We arrived about 1145am, we were greeted immediately, seated at a booth as we requested, and we met Jessica our amazing waitress. Kind, courteous, and quick ! We ordered our drinks, and garlic cheese bread as a starter. It was 10/10 hot, fresh and delicious ! Our pies were cheese, and a pepperoni, we asked for light sauce, and a crispier crust. It was done perfectly đ. Our pies were delicious, excellent sauce ! Jessica made sure we had everything we needed, during our visit, she was awesome. The bill was about $50, which I consider a bargain for good food and a family of four. I read the reviews for the restaurant before we came, and while everyone is entitled to their opinion, some of them are just malicious. A pizza place, at the beach, is going to be super busy, expect some wait time. An overwhelmed restaurant at peak time, might make a mistake, be patient and kind. This pizza parlor is a hit, and we highly recommend you give it a try !

Our waitress Jess was great . She was kind , helpful and on top of everything, excellent service . There was no wait , however be advised they close at 7 on sundays despite google here saying they close at 8. Alas however I absolutely can not recommend eating here . I got a sub and my friend the spaghetti . The quality of food is just beyond subpar , the meats in the sub were truly low grade and the spaghetti was just watery and poorly cooked . The salad was brown , with crackers in bags for croutons . Pretty tough to justify a 14 dollar sub . The garlic bread was definitely the best part of the meal.

Me and my friend were stared at. We were uncomfortable. We were concerned that if we made any sound we would be asked to leave. Our food was terrible, how tf can you mess up a cheese pizza?? There was so much cheese my friend went to the bathroom and vomited, TWICE! A different waiter came to us and asked if one of us vomited in the bathroom, when we tried to explain, he said we needed to leave because "we made a mess in the bathroom". So we GLADLY left and as we left, the different waiter said to someone "they definitely did it in the bathroom and now I have to clean it". How disrespectful and disgusting of employers to say such things! We left basically on an empty stomach and paid a ridiculous amount of money for food that my friend vomited back up. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND not coming here!!

Weâve been here before and usually have had a good experience. We didnât have a bad experience today but our server Reese did mess up what we originally ordered. I had ordered an Italian sub and asked for a small; hubby got a large. Hubby got his large sub and I too received a large. I didnât wanna make a fuss and return it. We ordered chicken tenders after we had already placed our original order, my husband pointed to the chicken tenders underneath âappetizerâ and we received a childâs chicken tenders with two chicken strips and french fries instead. I had already ordered French fries with our original order and then decided afterward I wanted just an order of chicken tenders for my one year old. Normally wouldnât make a big deal out of things like this but Reese had already made a mistake by giving me a large Italian sub when I wanted a small and then gave me an order of childâs chicken tenders after we requested just chicken tenders from appetizer section. And Reese did ask if we wanted the chicken tenders removed when husband brought it up and he did apologize for the misunderstanding. We ended up paying for something we didnât ask for and thatâs a bit frustrating. Other than that, food is good and the service is always great here. We do enjoy Maxâs pizza!

My daughter and I got the turkey sub and it was so bad we couldnât eat it. The meat was low quality and cut really thick. We left the restaurant still hungry. My son ordered a small pepperoni pizza. He said it was ok but didnât finish it or want to take the leftovers home. The service was ok. Not terrible, not great. Would not recommend.

I have had this place 3 times now the last 1 1/2 a month. I have never got this bad of a pizza. Paid $17 for a large pizza for it to look like this and taste bad. If I didnât live 30 mins away I would have went back. This is unacceptable
