I recently ordered from Topsail steamer seafood restaurant online, expecting a delicious seafood meal. However, when I received my order, I was shocked to find that it wasn't a prepared meal at all. Instead, I got a package with non-fresh seafood and potato sprouts, with instructions to cook it myself. Not only was the seafood not fresh, but I could have bought the exact same ingredients at my local seafood store for a fraction of the price. I paid 150$
The lack of transparency about the meal preparation and the expectation that I would cook the seafood myself was a major letdown. If you're looking for a seafood meal, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Unless you're looking to buy raw ingredients and cook them yourself, this isn't the place for you.

What a great idea. Simple but pleasant. We picked up a Steamer pot for our family vacation and it was a hit. It was fun to do and came with everything we needed for a sea side seafood fest.

The food was delicious! Ordering online was easy and the pickup went smoothly. We were impressed by their business operation and quality of food. We got the “Jimmy’s Way” seasoning and it was delicious!

Email said bucket was ready for pickup. We show up as they are still preparing multiple other buckets which were supposedly ready. 15 minutes later we finally get it bucket. When we got home we found they had neglected to include our scallops.

We were apprehensive about doing this. One use pot sounded sketchy but it worked perfectly. The directions were easy to follow and the meal Turned out delicious. They give you everything and the directions were spot on. They even knew the sausage was gluten free. Give it a try. You won’t regret it.

FANTASTIC! I was skeptical that it could be as simple, and delicious as they say - but it was perfect! Couldn’t have been easier to order, pickup and cook at home. Made for a very cool experience while we were on vacation!

So I was really looking forward to checking this place out. With that said, I'll start with the good. The staff are very friendly, corn bread is very good, and the seasonings are good (though not any different than what you could find at a grocery store). With that said, if you're gonna have the audacity to ask for a tip from the get go and charge over $100.00 for a meal, the least you could do is clean the shrimp correctly; instead of sending me home to spend 20 minutes cleaning it for you. Overall, the food was good, though oddly about 1/3 of the crab had no meat in it (could have just been bad luck on my part), but if you want to save yourself 1/2 -1/3 of the cost, just go to the grocery store and buy the same thing, throw it in a pot with some seasonings and do it yourself. Maybe if you really like them, stop by their store to get the cornbread and seasoning to add to your meal.

This was our first time trying Topsail Steamer and they didn't disappoint. Food was great, as we ordered a custom pot for 6 of us, and we had just the right amount of food. The Key Lime Pie was the best I have had, and I have had several. The Jalapeno Cornbread was a hit as well. The convenience of having it all put together for you is a game changer.

Such an innovative idea to prepare seafood in a steamer bucket for people to prepare at the beach with their families! Our seafood was fresh, well seasoned with fairly generous portion sizes. Very worth it for the price. Will definitely come back for another bucket next time I’m at the beach!
