We went to the blazing Bird the other night for the first time in swansboro North Carolina they're mac and cheese was horrible and their chicken wings are not even hot spice We ended up throwing $27 in the garbage

I can not get hot wings anywhere, got the hottest they have , yawn, burp, belch, not hot barely spicy, not a bad meal , but a disappointment,you can have my seat at the blazin bird, thanks , but dont look for me anytime

The blazin bird is exactly what fried chicken and comfort food should be defined as. Flavor burst in every bite, in everything that is served from this establishment. The owner rocks, the staff is friendly and welcoming at all times. Best sauce is the hot & smokey but try them all !Tenders are to die for, the wings are unmatched price wise for the portion you get, the Mac and cheese is indescribable but I promise your mouth with water for more, I can go on but just try this place for yourself.

My go-to menu item is 4 boneless tenders sauced in mild buffalo, served with buttered toast, with a side of hot Mac-n-cheese. The tenders are succulent, top-quality white meat. All enjoyed in a simple, laid back dining area making for an enjoyable atmosphere with attentive and friendly staff. Be sure to try the freshly brewed sweet tea and the delicious banana budding or molten lava cake, too!

Best chicken in the area. However, within the year the prices have doubled and portions have gotten smaller. What used to be $10-$11 for a two tender/two side meal, is now $15 for two tender/one side meal. Food and atmosphere are great, just be prepared for the price and portion size. Also, hours can change anytime. Hopefully they start posting menu updates and hours on their socials for quick access!Update (1/16/2024): Looks like someone is posting on their FB page with new hours! Definitely easier to check than showing up to the door to a sign posted! Thanks Blazin Bird.

3 months ago, this would have been a 5 star review. The menu changes have done me in. Can't get chicken plates, no collards, no more easy order ahead online and pick up on my way home. Went in and saw the new menu, sat in the parking lot and thought about it for a few minutes and then took my money down the road, spent less and got more food.
