The wife and I decided to go to Anderson’s Grill yesterday. I got hamburger & fries combo. They only had tea or lomonade for drinks. Hamburger was ok, fries are seasoned and taste good. My wife got the Shrimp combo and it was terrible. We both enjoy good shrimp but it and the hushpuppies looked and tasted like they were cooked in old grease and too Hot as they both were over done. Almost burnt. We just threw away $14. ??
A small roadside walk up window grill in Tarheel, NC. Drove past on the way to the beach and I'm sooo glad we stopped! The best, fried Catfish Sandwich, BBQ Sandwich and Hotdogs since ever!
I had a double bacon cheese burger and fries. The food was very good and the price reasonable. The staff was very friendly. It is a local icon. No indoor seating so you eat on their picnic benches or take away.
