I drove 35 mins to try this place. Just to get stares by the employees while waiting for my waiter, finally when she arrives she says what do you want. Also when I asked about menu and drinks. She acted as if I was irritating her. Highly wouldn’t recommend I hope the food is better than the service.

Awesome food and service, we really enjoyed our stop there while passing through NC. I would recommend them, but we choose to go there because of their already 5✨reviews on Google so I guess I just agree with everyone else... Go and enjoy

A complete dissapointment, cooks don't read their tickets (2) defiant management who spends more time on the phone than in training its workers. Waitress (k) helpful. Will never come back to this location, 1 star compared to Raleigh, Wilson Rancheritas.

My Son and I arrived at 11:05 this morning for our first time. Opens at 11:00. Took the 3 people in front 5 minutes to figure out if they were open or not. The music was extremely loud and I asked if they could turn it down. The reply was no. So.. We, left.I hear the food is good but the service sucked.

I have been a patron of this restaurant since it opened. The food has remained consistently good through out the years. My three star rating is due to the volume of the music over the last five to six times I have visited.Today, the restaurant’s speaker in the 16” ceiling was blaring music at 58 to 60 decibels. The louder parts of some songs even reached the 70 dB level. This is the same sound level as running a vacuum cleaner. Despite two requests, no one could or would turn down the music’s volume.I don’t think my wife and I will be going back to this place because you can’t even have a conversation or place your order for food and drink without having to shout to be heard.

If I could negative 5000 stars I would. I’m here tonight with my girlfriend and my bestfriend. This is my first time ever eating at this establishment. First it took us a long time to be seated because the hostess was playing around. So we finally get seated and it’s takes forever for our waitress to take our order. So we ask one of the waiters that walks pass and he rudely tells us “you’re gonna have to ask your own waiter. We In Your Restaurant tho paying. Then the manager left her phone at the bar. I pick it up and let her know I got it you know this lady snatched her phone out my hand and turned around with out saying thank you. I’ll never eat here again. The only person who showed us excellent service was Trinity. Place blows

We love La Rancherita, it's our favorite Tarboro restaurant. Today we were disappointed to learn that there is now a significant uncharge for extra chips, but it wasn't too big a deal because there are only 2 of us and we don't eat that many chips anyway. The main problem, which we've noticed a few times, is that the music is SO loud. We've always tolerated it, but today it was so loud that we could barely hear one another talk. We asked for it to be turned down, but were told that manager has no access (??) to the office where the volume is located. I'm very disappointed, and we will likely choose a different, quieter atmosphere for dining next time.
