I have eaten here twice, and all the bad reviews are right on point. The country style steak tastes awful! It has a really bad burnt taste to it. Their mac and cheese is just as bad. It's so waterd down it dont even taste like there's cheese in it. Also, the "hand breaded" chicken sandwich is not hand breaded. It's the same as Tyson chicken frozen patties you buy at the grocery store and heat up it the microwave. Save your money and cook it yourself at home. This place is one of the worst places I have eaten at in Taylorsville, NC.

Once again this local restaurant has topped our favorites list!you can not believe how wonderful the bone in fried pork chops are! Perfect , thick, juicy, a huge chop and a perfect crust! You can not beat the southern comfort flavor! As always, the service was fast and totally customer centered and the ambiance is clean and like going to a family dinner! I am so pleased to have this quality home cooking available when my sweet husband needs a break! I have been totally bed ridden for two years now and this restaurant has been a gift to us. Just one last note, there is not a better hamburger in this whole area!

I am very pleased with the experience I have had at this family restaurant! I've been several times dine and take out! I can't think of one thing I didn't enjoy the staff the cook are all accommodating and wonderful personalities! I will be coming back! The corn nuggets are the BOMB I think for that kind of service and food I tip both waitresses and the cook! Thank you for your hospitality

Quality of food depends greatly on the temperament of the chef at that time. I have had one good plate from the kitchen, and I've eaten there at least 10 times. Hoping that it would be of the same quality as the first time I was there.(which was the best plate I was served and the only plate unfortunately that was good)I do hope that they can get passion back in to their quality.

I had the country style steak. The gravy had a burnt taste. Green beans were out of a can and undercooked. The mashed potato were instant. No salt in any of it. Tator wedges and hushpuppies were good. Apple sticks were doughy.
