Service is good as long as Angel is there. The food is good if and when they can be bothered to get your order correct. I ordered 4 items to pickup tonight...a steak special Stromboli, a cheese calzone (mozzarella and ricotta) with ham added, Cajun chicken alfredo and a side of fries. Got home with no fries and my daughters calzone didn't have any ricotta on it!! The last time we ordered for pickup, they had the wrong sauce on both of the orders of wings ant my Mediterranean combo plate (gyro and chicken) didn't have any freaking chicken on it!! Get your act together people!!

I love this place! However they must’ve hired someone new in the front. When I called to place a Togo order I was rushed, not only was I rushed but I kept getting cut off by the lady asking me if that’s all. I understand they are busy especially being Saturday night. The lady could’ve at least let my finish talking and been more polite and very less rushy.

The brushetta found anywhere else is inaccurate.
Unfortunately the bread is weighed down with butter, a tiny bit of tomato basil mixture and smothered in cheese. A heart attack at the door. When I pointed out the menu online stated no cheese they said the only correct menu is Slice. The review is correct however, the brushetta has a kick of spice that I could not figure out.
The only reason they did not receive a 1 is because they have one of the best homemade marinaras around, fresh lettuce, carrots, onions, tomatoes, pintos without animal products and fried okra.
Only a handful of vegan options including the above plus fries, veggie pasta and brushetta minus butter and cheese.

Would’ve left zero stars but there was no option for that. We ordered food for my boyfriends mom and lil sister and something for us when we got off work at 12:15 am cuz we work second shift and we ordered us Stromboli's and one was supposed to be a pepperoni Stromboli and they had jalapeños in it and we went by at lunch the next day and said they couldn’t do nothing about it cuz we ordered it the day before at 7:40 and we told them we didn’t see they messed up til we got home at 1 am and we couldn’t call they weren’t open and they said all we could do was order a new one and pay for it. We left the messed up Stromboli there and left cuz we brought it in to show them and the lady wouldn’t even get a manager for us to talk to or anything and we brought the receipt in. And our food was cold when it got here and took over an hour almost 2 to arrive and we live like 2 miles away from restaurant

I have been a loyal fan of hillsville cafe for years. The food is great but l do have one specific COMPLAINT. ANYTIME l have ever gotten any type of pasta l was always given a piece of garlic bread that was only TWO inches long and no, I'm not exaggerating! Great food but PLEASE give a full slice of garlic bread, as other restaurants do, with each pasta and I will always be a loyal customer. Thank you.

The food was very bad the only thing I ordered I couldn't eat because the salad was loaded with nasty purple onions I can't eat onions my sister could not chew the okra will never eat there again and will never recommend that place.iam on fixed income they just took my money for very bad food.shame on them not unless I get a free meal sorry for sounding mean but 27.00 is a lot of money

I must edit my review to include tonight's dinner as well. I ordered the baked ziti and asked to have Alfredo sauce added to it. It was very tasty!! Previously-Dinner here tonight. The food is very fresh and good. I had the chicken Parmesan. It was very good. Comes with a side of spaghetti and a salad. The chicken was very good, it was a nice thickness, not too thin or thick. I believe they must make their marinara which is very good with diced tomatoes. The salad was basic with tomato, shredded carrots, red onions and fresh lettuce. Their ranch dressing was very good, maybe that too is made in house. You don't come here for the decor but I did see the sanitation grade is 95.5. Pricing was good as well.

My first time picking up food here. Excellent experience. My absolute only "complaint" is I ordered the Bruschetta, I had no idea it was spicy. I'm a spice wimp ? so couldn't eat it. But my entree and my family's food was wonderful. We will definitely be back!!

But, while the food was pretty decent, the service wasn't all that great. There was hardly anyone to be served, but the food took *forever*
Like, we were sitting for at least 10 minutes before the appetizer came out. And then at least 15 more before the entrees came out, one of which was not even complete. It took almost 10 more minutes for them to produce the *smallest* piece of garlic bread I've ever seen to go with the spaghetti that was ordered
The other food wasn't bad. The grilled chicken on the Greek chicken salad was pretty tasty. But the salad itself was like 80% lettuce, 10% chicken, and then 10% every other topping. I honestly expected more feta, olives, peppers, etc, but they just weren't there
The waitress looked like she was pretty embarrassed that we had to wait so long. I honestly felt bad for her, because the poor lady started stuttering when she asked us if we wanted more drink. It wasn't her fault, and I hope she knows that
Like I said, I'm hoping that today was just a bad day. I know every place has them, and that's okay. But if this is a consistent thing, I would not be surprised if this little restaurant went under
