Definitely the biggest kept secret in the lake Norman area and probably Charlotte. I’ve passed it 1000 times and always said “we need to try this little place“. Yesterday finally, we decided to give it a shot. The parking lot has always been full every time I passed it and now I know why. The atmosphere, Like you’re walking into a Mexican family dining room. The service was impeccable. Everyone in there is related. A true family owned establishment. The food, it took a little bit longer to get, simply because everything, and I mean everything is made fresh. When they found out, it was our first time of course, like any family, they brought us over a dessert to share amongst us. Cinnamon sticks with syrup and whipped cream. I’m not sure what they’re called, but they were delicious. The food was fantastic. The guacamole had to have three full avocados in it and all fresh ingredients. The food was awesome! And the bill was $54 for three full meals and appetizer and non-alcoholic beverages. Like I said, this is the best kept secret in Charlotte. I highly recommend it. The mom is the cutest.😍

I eat here often. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in the Mooresville Troutman area where I live. I’ve probably eaten at a lot of them, but after eating at burritos and ribs I no longer eat at those other establishments. Burritos and ribs cuisines are far better, so if my family and I want Mexican food this spot is our go to.

Food was very good, tasted more like authentic Mexican food than Tex-Mex.

This mexican-style reminds me of Mexican food in Tijuana, Baja, Arizona and California.

Additional parking is in the back. I haven't seen what it looks like back there. I was one of the first customers that afternoon I was able to reverse my RV van 24' into a parking spot up front.

This cuisine has a liquor bar they have plenty of Mexican style beers. I did not ask about American beer or ipas, perhaps next time.

The staff was very friendly.

Next time I am in the area I will have to get a slice of pie. Perhaps tres leche or key lime.

The food here is amazing! My favorite thing to get is the nachos with grilled chicken and that cheese sauce on the nachos is just so good! It is something great to share with another person. The woman who owns the restaurant is such a sweet lady. It feels so cozy and welcoming.

This place is amazing! Never fails with friendly staff and amazing servers! They are very
happy to answer questions and suggest food items! I always ask for the servers favorite as my meal and I have yet to get a dish I didn't like! Plus, theres always a to go box, the servings are abundant!

If you drive by too fast you will miss it, and the parking lot is always packed. Two sure signs of a great local hole in the wall that you should definitely try if you haven't. The staff and owners are so pleasant you feel like family. The food is always delicious!! Try fancy loaded ACP, ribs, and Mexican style guacamole.

We were traveling through this area while visiting lake Norman SP. While at a local shop we asked for recommendations for dinner and 3 of the 4 people standing there recommended this place. I can see why! Absolutely delicious, the best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time. Prices were reasonable and portions were large.
