Please explain to me why a plain cheeseburger and tots is $9???? I called my order in. Before I could ask how much it was, the phone was hung up. I went to the window to get my food. It was hot but my tots weren't fresh. Didn't get a receipt. I love Kats Patch but this particular evening it was a huge disappointment.

This place is a gem and a walk back in time. Ladies at the counter are super sweet and the food is just fine and very inexpensive. No wonder it’s so popular w the locals. So many comments about cleanliness in th reviews but I do t see what they are complaining about. It’s an old place but seems to be doing great. Would happily return if passing by again.

The BIG yearly horse trading event was in Troutman today. The lines were long but they kept them moving QUICKLY. Even though they were busy my order was brought to me correct and everything tasted great.

11/02/24 2:50pm Watching the staff wearing gloves touching raw meat, then pulling out their phone and playing on it didn’t instill confidence. While waiting in line having to listen to a plus size gal yell to a different employee in the back about how her job doesn’t respect her. Screaming and cussing. That was enough for us to leave. I guys I will drive all the way down to McDonalds. I would much rather support a small local business but that is just too much.

I just want in there and order a strawberry shortcake and look on the menu it said $544 but when the lady ring up the order why did she ring my order $599 and I told her and she said there is nothing she can do

All the tables were dirty. Flies everywhere. Floors dirty the place used to be one of my favorites, lacks on cleanliness by leaps and bounds.
Parking: People with trucks and trailers were parked where you could not get around them. One car parked across 2 spaces.

I’m leaving the review on the insane rule y’all have stating that it’s not y’all’s problem if condiments aren’t given if you don’t check your stuff before driving off. That’s the dumbest thing and more than half the time your staff doesn’t give what they should, and people are paying 50 cents extra for nothing. It’s happened to me every time I’ve been there and sorry, I don’t have time to sit there and go through everything when I have hungry kids screaming or it’s late and I’m getting off work. DO BETTER! Or take your dumb sign down.

Food is fine. Service is lacking. I went on Saturday evening about 5. They were slow as far as customers, about three other customers inside and one at drive through. First thing was no one greeted me or said someone will be right with you. Took too long for someone to finally come take my order then a long time for the order to be served and it was missing the shake I had ordered. I waited a a while and had to remind them why I was standing at the pick up counter. All employees were teens and young adults and not one looked over 22. Frankly it looked like they don't care about providing good service. I will not come here again, Dixies Fish and Chips is far better.
