Food was great. Prices were great. The young lady that took my order was obviousky having a bad day. After seeing that the food looked good and the prices were great which U commented on, I asked for change for a twenty to leave a tip. She asked how I wanted it and I said ones and fives and then said anything is fine, as long as part was ones. ( My order was less than $9.) She handed me 4 5s. I thought about it and put a 5 in the cup because I had seen others behind the counter being more pleasant. When my food came, I was starting to ask for ketchup but saw she was dumping some in my tray. I thanked her , no smile, no response. I suppose everyone has personal things going on, but I would be reluctant to come in and have her wait on me again. Even though the prices and food were good.

A local favorite in Troy. Walk up and order at the window and pick up your food a few minutes later. My hamburger was fresh and so were my French fries. The hamburger french fries and soda came to about $6 so a pretty good deal!

Their food is not good as it use to be I don’t know what happen, most of the food be overcooked or undercooked now and How is they going to STOP serving breakfast before 10:30 am on a Friday at least serve until 10:30am.

Walked in on Tuesday June 19th, 9:45am, restaurant was visibly filthy but we made an exception based on the most recent sanitation report of 98 and because we love burgers. It did not appear that anyone there was ready to work. Two young ladies behind the counter, appearing to be in their twenties, were gossiping with another young lady at the counter. Not a single hello or a good morning. This was strike 2. I heard the young woman say a mutual friend in common ordered from there last night “he ordered a hamburger steak and he couldn’t chew through it.” That was strike 3 and we left before ordering or even being offered to place an order.

Once upon a time, this restaurant was probably making a better burger than they are currently. It's a tired place with disinterested staff. Dirty and in poor condition. I purchased a hamburger with onion rings and a chocolate milk shake. The bun was plain, cheap, and stale. Discount variety. The patty was small and thin and had a small amount of a Sloppy-Joe type meat sauce covering the patty for some reason. The toppings were equally as scarce and unfreash as the meat. The onion rings were fair. Probably factory produced and frozen. The chocolate milk shake was questionable for containing neither chocolate nor milk. IDK. The price was less than ten bucks. The cost to the health of the consumer and community is to be determined. Please clean it up and do the needed repairs. Like fix the commode in the ladies' room. Change a little more and spend a little more. The place has potential. But for now, I recommend you, the consumer, to pass on Better Burger.
