A busy early Friday evening for their seafood special. Service seems a little slow here but they are friendly. About 20 minutes to get the food out. The fried oysters were really good. Popcorn shrimp about average. Broiled shrimp was very tasty and a very large serving.

I was invited to join friends at Hometown about a month ago. Wow - good food + plenty + unbelievable price & good service. That night - all u can eat baby flounder, 2 sides $7.99. I'll be going back for sure. Only 1 large table, mostly booths.

Haven't been here in years. It's 10 miles from where I stay when in NC. In on a Monday at 2 for a late lunch. ORDERED: Small chopped bbq sandwich, fries, slaw and a iced tea. Total $ 8 and change. Sandwich and fries came out cold and sent it back. The return was still not hot but at least it was warm. Fries were old and the sandwich was dry and had no flavor. No need to go back.

Food is always good, service is fast and friendly. Everyone knows everyone if not you will know someone you didn't when you leave. They have a good breakfast menu, lunch and dinner. Seafood nights all you can eat, and their BBQ is amazing

I've lived in Troy for a year after moving here from Ohio and only ate at hometown once. I should be going more often. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and they are fast. I got take out and ate at home but next time I think I'll dine in. I have no complaint and will definitely recommend this place to people I know. Thank you for the delicious dinner!
