We recently moved to the area, and found ourselves hungry for some pizza! I came across this place online first. We couldn’t find a menu with prices anywhere, so we decided to drive over and hoped for the best. We weren’t disappointed! The staff were super nice, the prices are very fair and the food is great!!! We will definitely be back again soon. 🖤🍕

Our first time here,
regular crust large 2 topping pizza really good.

Cauliflower crust was over cooked. And definitely not worth the added $10 cost of it. Would not have ordered if we knew it was that much more than normal crust.

The owners seemed very nice and courteous, but we really would have loved if they made it more obvious about the added cost of the cauliflower crust. Or at least mentioned it.

All in all would recommend the place if you like good pizza at a fair price. Avoid special crust

Great Pizza! The Veggie Deluxe and the Pepperoni Classic are my go to favorites.

A heart attack waiting to happen but it was pretty good! Less cheese would be fantastic!

Quick stop in Tryon NC and Bucks did not disappoint. Fast and friendly service. Great little place to get some amazing food. Pizza was cooked perfectly. Stromboli was made with some serious love. It's was phenomenal! Only thing missing from this place is some good garlic knots. If you're in town don't pass this place by it's worth the stop.

Service was outstanding! The Pizza excellent and since there’s no indoor seating we sat at the tables outside which were fine.
Just a busy walking avenue.

I like the pizza here, but being called an a-hole by the owner is another level of service. I walked in and waited on my pizzas and noticed an older gentleman behind me was asked to pay $81 for his meal. I thought it was odd since I was in front but I didn’t think much of it. We both sat there for another 20+ minutes and when his ticket was finally done, a different person brought his pizzas and salads up to the counter and told the older gentleman it would be $81. The gentleman pulled out his wallet and I asked the guy “sir, didn’t you already pay” and he smiled and said oh yes I did and then thanked me for catching that. He took out his salads and said he would come back for the pizzas. Anyway one of the ladies working there was telling the owner the guy already paid and the owner argued that he was certain that the older gentleman did not. I could hear the whole thing sitting in the “waiting area.” The lady goes running out to catch the older man who she suspected hadn’t paid, but he was already coming back for his pizzas. So I hear the owner in the back ask the girl “what a-hole told you he paid” so obviously I’m very surprised because I’m that a-hole who was trying to help this older gentleman not get charged $162 dollars for a couple of pizzas and salads. The owner waited for the older guy to walk in and get the pizzas and proceeded to ask him if he paid. The older gentleman said yes he remembered signing the receipt. One refreshing bit to this story was that the original lady who took the older gentleman’s payment came back in after a delivery as I was about to leave. And the owner yet again asked about the payment and she said “yes he paid”. There’s no point in calling customers names and getting upset when the owner had no idea what was going on. There was never an apology or acknowledgement from the owner for calling me an a-hole. I will never get food from Bucks again. Go to Sidestreet.

LOVE this place! Buck’s Pizza is one of those little downtown Tryon gems you’re just so glad you found. It’s a tiny walk-in spot—nothing fancy, but always busy for a reason. I've had both the Margherita pizza and the oven-baked hoagies, and honestly, they’re fantastic. The flavors are spot on, and everything is always fresh and hot.

The service is fast and small-town friendly, and I love that they text you when your food’s ready to pick up—super convenient when they’re slammed (which is pretty much always). If you haven’t tried Buck’s yet, do yourself a favor and go. Total favorite!

We order from Buck's every couple of weeks. He's quick to respond via text & quick to prep. He has a great attitude (which I wish more people in the area had) & the food is outstanding. Job well done!

Great prices and delicious pizza! VERY fast, especially compared to other pizza places in the area. The option to text your order is so convenient.
