Our second time at this restaurant. First visit was just okay. Second time around was a complete disaster. Bland food indifferently served. Waitress told us not to tilt the umbrella so we baked in the sun. Live music was too loud to allow dinner conversation. We visit the area often for horse shows, but will not return to this place.
It was great. We sat out in front of the place listening to a guitarist singing old rock and country tunes. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious and the staff attentive. All the food was perfect and we couldn't have been happier. I'll go again.
Don’t go based off any of the menus you see on here, they are all outdated. Couldn’t take photos of the new menu at the time of posting this. That being said, it was…lackluster at best. The old menu sounded and looked much better than their current one. Fewer lunch choices than before and just odd combinations of food pairings. Old menu items like the waffled grilled cheese, Thai chili shrimp tacos, the fried green tomato crab cakes are not on the menu anymore, now it’s farroe salad and a $13 burger where each add on is $1 each. They are trying to be overly fancy without any real reason. Their ketchup is definitely food service grade, nothing fancy considering what they are trying to be or what they are charging.Service was ok at best, save from what we saw from the short male server, he sounded like he knew what he was doing; he told you up front what the daily items were, asked what you’d like to drink, overall more efficient and interested in being there. All that being said, would not recommend considering all of the other food choices around.
My wife and I are seasonal residents in Flat Rock, NC. Yesterday we decided to cruise down to Tryon for our first visit there. We stopped in at Huckleberry’s for light lunch. The outdoor seating was perfect, and our server was absolutely wonderful and provided us with superb service. Our lunch was delightfully delicious ?!! We shall definitely return and recommend to our NC friends. Thank you ? and kudos to the proprietor/owner who owns, operates, and manages a fabulous restaurant‼️?
Best fried chicken sandwich I've had! We spent a super nice afternoon dining outside and we were serviced by a great staff!
The house salad was great and the salmon was good although very salty. The sweet potato fries were extremely greasy and soggy, not crispy at all. We ordered for takeout . ( I realize fries aren’t as good like that but I always get takeout and never had fries like that) The price is a bit high for the amount of fish we got. ($26) I enjoyed it except for the fries. They have a good menu selection and gluten free options which I love.
We travel over an hour to get here and we did enjoyed our visit. The food was good and the staff was above the norm, very friendly and kind. Everyone in our group really liked the food except the cold soup. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
Great burger and fries and outdoor atmosphere. Full, beautiful carafe of water. Everything was hot and fresh, and I ate every bit, even the lemon in the water
We have been to Huckleberrys serveal times in the past. We love the outside patio area, great food, good beer selection and great music!
Started off with the shrimp skewers then the hummus with roasted veggies wrap and ended with the chocolate Kahlua toffee mousse cake. The shrimp was a little over cooked but the wrap and cake were wonderful. I ordered the sweet potato fries as my side and those were also good.

We had lunch here at Tryon North Carolina. We just had appetizers for our lunch food was good and I have a outside bar.
Food good, but felt rushed through our dinner instead of being allow to enjoy time with my wife. Waitress even admitted they were trying to quickly turn tables since wait time outside had reached 30 minutes. Also canned sodas instead of a glass with fountain drinks.
A wonderful dining experience! The location, service, and food was amazing! The charcuterie board was so good and the steak dinner was perfect! Looking forward to returning and trying new menu items.
I must say that this was truly the best dining experience we have had in a very long time!!! Words cannot express the quality of food, the presentation, the atmosphere and the service. We will definitely make this one of our regular places to eat!!!
Everything was amazing from the honey balsamic salad to the Ham and gruyere pot pie and the bourbon pecan pie. Excellent service and friendly staff. When I am in Tryon, ill be at Huckleberry s
