Perfect spot at the Tryon Equestrian Center. Roger’s Diner is quick, consistent, and exactly what you want between classes or events. Food came out fast, hot, and hit the spot. Staff was friendly and efficient even with the crowd.

Waitress told us not to order the biscuits and gravy because it looked like the gravy had turned. But then said we could get it anyways and see how it tastes. It took over 1 hour to get avocado toast, eggs and pancakes. And they were not crowded. Breakfast should never take an hour.

I don’t know what has happened to Roger’s Diner. It used to be so good. The food quality was AWFUL!! If they’ve changed their food supplier they need to switch back. The burgers were chewy, the turkey was grey and inedible they used to serve a great breakfast and now they say it’s limited to one side of the menu. The pimento cheese tasted like mayonnaise. Not fresh… The service wasn’t bad but the server started mopping around us with a strong disinfectant while we were eating. The while experience left a lot to desired. Knowing a little bit about the Smiths and their standards I think they’d be very disappointed…

Never would of known about this place without Google. Small town diner atmosphere, excellent food, perfect service and local feel. Part of a event center here near Tryon. Will be back when this way again. Come try this place. Photo taken after I started eating. Cassandra was greet and concerned about our meal and gave perfect service.

We came after seeing the lights. We had party of 6 and my daughter was in her wheelchair. The large corner table and one other booth open just not cleaned. Hostess said just wait about 10 minutes they’d clean corner table and had spot to put wheelchair there. I confirmed we’d wait outside as no room inside to wait. After 6 minutes we could see table clean and came in only to see another family get taken to it. I looked at hostess and she said they were waiting??? What about us and 10 minutes?? Totally rude and felt looked over as we had wheelchair. Don’t lie and say 10 minutes to clean only to give to another family.

Alright. First time will say I was satisfied. Yet...the mac and cheese...krafts? Kids weren't satisfied. They were looking for something different but i get it, easy. But for the prices.

The food was great, great vibe to the place Whoever the beautiful waitress was , brunette with a green jem ring, was the absolute best waitress I have had in years. I’m from Orlando and I think customer service has died over the years but she made me a believer again, better than any service I’ve received at any of the 5 star restaurants I go to The Reuben and chicken sandwich were both excellent as well as your tomato soup and grilled cheese Everything was great Thank you for your service and hospitality

It’s fairly standard for a diner. Nothing extravagant. It’s hard to get to if you’re coming from the interstate, but if you’re using the horse facilities I’d say it’s a solid yes. Very reasonable prices

It was to us in the middle of nowhere. But I saw a sign on the highway for it. Made the turn but couldn't find it. I turned to the welcome center for the international horse center and they wete so nice , gave me instructions how to get there and called to make sure it was still open. Got to restaurant and it was a wonderful place to visit. Very clean and friendly staff. The food was excellent. Reasonable price for the food that we had and when it was time to leave gave us both a to go drink. Never even asked for it, was just given. We are from Ohio and came down to visit relatives and we were at a lose end and thought about a casino and discovered this wonderful place along the way!
