Stopped in for lunch, never been there before but will definitely be a regular... great! Blooming onions!!!.. simply the best I've ever had. It was homestyle southern food - chicken, fish sandwich, sides.. Clean, cozy and very friendly staff. Thanks for a great lunch, will be back. We have used Northbrook Family Restaurant as caterers for several large events now. Each time, the food served is fresh and delicious. They come set everything up, serve the food and provide all of the paper products and drinks. Everyone has always been very friendly and accommodating for all of our needs. It's a great value for the money and we've never had any complaints regarding food at any of our events. Check them out!

Lady's at the pick up window were nice.... That's the only good thing to say about the experience. Fries were best part of the food I had.... All else was not great and definitely overpriced.... $16 extra for sauce😮🤔 probably should have asked if that's for sure what I meant but what's done is done. Not to mention the honey mustard I was charged so much for is basically Dijon mustard that I didn't even eat🤷♂️

We have TRIED to give this place chance after chance since the Mitchems sold, but after tonight, NO MORE. First of all, the price of the food has went up and the amount of food and quality has went way down. My daughter and I usually get a whole order of shrimp to share maybe once a month, but last week when we ordered this, we maybe had 20 shrimp in our plate..... for a WHOLE order. Another day we ordered 2 salads, don't get me wrong I know the price of things has increased, but it cost us $24. And tonight my husband called to place an order and couldn't even finish ordering before asking for a manager. Of course, "a manager wasn't there", the girl taking the order was SO incredibly rude. After I called and canceled the order, my husband drove by to go to another restaurant, he could see people in the back of the restaurant messing around and people on their phones at the window.
Extremely slow and under staffed, use to be one of our favorite spots to eat but between the 10/15 minute wait times just to get a drink order in or for them to clean off a empty table and 45/60 minute wait time for food when they aren’t busy, even worse when they are busy, lack of help / workers has crippled this place, phone is off the hook 90% of the time as well, don’t see us returning, give pizza inn, Cooksville or Norman’s a try, what this place lacks they provide. Just my 2 cents tho, hope y’all correct it and get it going like Mitchems was.

Stopped by this morning with my brother for some home cooked breakfast. My brother got the Brookhouse special, which is enough food for three grown men ?, and I got the Steak omelet with side of gravy and a biscuit. Needless to say... we were both extremely satisfied with the quality of the food, the server staff, and the overall experience that we've come to expect from this restaurant. Thanks Northbrook team for a great job ?

My family ate dinner there 08/06/2024. We have eaten there many times over the years. Last night, our food was hot, service was great, and we enjoyed our meal. However, when I went to pay, I noticed that the sanitation score was a 90. Had I noticed that before we ate, I would have walked out. I think that the lady that took our payment probably noticed the look on my face when I saw the score. I looked online to see what they received demerits for. Needless to say, I will checkback to see what the score is before we go there again.
