Terrible kitchen to table timing. We arrived, placed our order and watched as other customers arrived after we did and then started receiving their food before us. When we finally decided it was time for us to leave the two waitresses became combative and very untruthful trying to blame our order speed on what we ordered. Others were receiving orders very similar to ours. I did offer to pay for the one cup of lemonade we did receive and the young lady behind the counter told me that wouldn’t be necessary. We try to support local businesses but won’t be going back. Disappointing to say the least!

Today was my first time and everything was absolutely delicious!!!!
This was the first time we have ate here since the new ownership…we had high hopes. The food was so disappointing, we ordered the family pack of shrimp and somehow everything tasted old and cold. The fries were inedible they were soggy overly oily and cold. The hush puppies while they tasted okay were also cold and mushy. Shrimp were cold and almost tough like they had been cooked for a really long period of time . I think the slaw and tartar sauce were the only saving grace for this meal. Im honestly not sure if it was a bad evening, or this is the normal reputation but we probably won’t be making a return visit.
Editing to add: While I appreciate the response and educational bit on the oils our experience was just that OUR experience with what we received. I’m not sure what the security camera footage is being viewed for, yes we placed our order around 5 was given a 25 minute wait we arrived earlier than the given time frame as we live minutes from there. I also have time stamped photos that I took in your parking lot. Paid. Left. This whole attitude and vibe is not it. We didn’t call to complain we left a review of our experience, we didn’t and still do not want anything from it just to let others know of our experience and from this we definitely will not be returning. This is such odd behavior. I wish that I had read through the reviews before I ever ordered. We wish you well in the future 🙂

Hate the day Carroll Mitcheum sold out and left. Called in orders twice and both times had to wait above and beyond what was told. Food never was as ordered and just fair quality. I’m done with them this time, no more chances.
