I looked at their menu online placed an order 5 cheeseburgers to large chili cheese fries when I went to pick the order up the five double cheeseburgers and two chili cheese fries was over $50 it makes no sense that their menu prices are that far off from their actual prices in the restaurant

Took over 30 minutes to get our food, his burger was thin and overcooked with typical grocery store frozen fries. I had fried chicken lunch white meat. It was old dried out and barely warm. I was unable to eat it. The accompanying sides were devilled egg and potato salad. They were good. The cornbread was old and hard.The iced teas were fine. Won't go back.

Love this place. Good home cooking. Cheese biscuit is amazing! The ladies are always so nice....a must stop for us when going through Vanceboro.

This review is on behalf of my 7 year old daughter. She wanted to come leave a review for everyone to know about. Today we went in to pick up a to go order and while waiting my daughter tried the claw machine they have in the dining room. After 2 failed attempts one of the waitresses handed her more change to try again. After that failed attempt the waitresses went and got her a small stuffed animal and gave it to her. My daughter thanked her and went out the happiest kid ever. Fast forward 5 hours and she wanted me to let everyone know how “kind” the waitress is at Vera’s Diner. ? it is very family friendly and we definitely recommend if you are coming through our small town to stop by and enjoy a plate of food from their “kind” staff ??
Parking: It can be difficult getting in and out of there if there are a lot of people there because it is such a small parking lot and see how it’s one of the only restaurants here in town. They’re tends to be a lot of people there every day they are open
