Decided to see this vineyard on the way back home from Asheville. Cypress Bend Vinyard is about 20 minutes inland from Rt 74, but worth the drive! The entrance is very nice, and you'll pass just some of their vineyards in addition to a large tented area. Inside a nice reception area awaits. We were greated by Lisa and soon began tasting their award winning wines, many had won multi-year first place awards and one best of show for a national contest. Many of their wines were named after the descendants of the land/vinyards. They specialize in muscadine grapes, Carlos, Noble and Magnolla, producing 16 table wines!
Upon arrival we were told many wines were already sold out, and new batches not yet bottled. It was fine though, we sampled a several flights of white, red, and Rose wines from dry to sweet, and even a peach wine that tasted more like a real peach, then a wine, which we bought. Also purchased their In A Canoe wine and their To-Morrow wine. Lisa and Makayla provided the histories of each and shared their personnal favorites with us. They also ship their products on their website. Having visited many vinyards, it is rare we like any wines (even at the Biltmore) but today bought 4 different varieties! About 1½ hours away from me, will probably return with a packed lunch for some more Cypress Bend wines.
Celebrated my co-workers surprise 50th birthday party at this venue and it was absolutely hands down an awesome experience!!! The sandman was a hit the atmosphere was amazing!!! Definitely recommend Cypress vineyard winery jazzy Fridays to anyone looking for an awesome time .
I ordered a case of their muscadine wines when they were doing a big sale, and though I’m remiss that a discount is what first motivated me to patronize the business, I am glad I purchased.
All the wines were great— exemplary specimens of the delicious native grape, and exhibiting a broad range of sweetness levels, from dry to sweet. I especially enjoyed the Doreen muscadine wine.
I still have a few bottles I’m keeping, and I hope to purchase more in the future.
Thank you for reminding the world that muscadine wine doesn’t have to be sickly sweet to be super delicious.
Thank U Amanda! The accommodations for my 65th Birthday @ the venue was great. My guest & I had a great time!! The band was great as well!
A lovely night, friends, food song, plenty of Atmosphere and fine 🍷 .
Beautiful vineyards and property! We Met the lovely Ms. Tina (Christina) and were thoroughly entertained and educated by the charming Ms. CARRIE. She was awesome with her knowledge, history, and selections of wine and grapes. This was an excellent experience that was also so warm and welcoming to visit and bring a lunch to eat. We love this place!
Beautiful vineyard and venue setting inside and out. The wine tasting was smashing and the hospitality was grapely appreciated! Seriously folks, go there and check it out! We are making this a frequent visit ❤️

My husband and I visited Cypress Bend last month. It was raining and we were the only people there. We were immediately impressed with tasting room and the murals on the walls. We did a tasting and couldn't decided which wine we enjoyed the most so we left with 6 varieties! Still have 2 bottles left! We have every intention to visit again!
Beautiful establishment, great employees, fantastic wine.

We had a fantastic wine tasting here a few weeks ago! Beautiful grounds, nice staff and we are members of Harvest Hosts so were able to stay overnight & enjoy a sweet happy hour with a delicious bottle of their "Autumn" muscadine wine. And speaking of Autumn - we had a wonderful sit down tasting with her - loved the wines, the family history, the naming of the wines - all great! Thank you Cypress Bend :)
Beautiful establishment, great employees, fantastic wine.
This place is a must see! Everything here is just beautiful. We sat and had wine and crackers while sitting outside. They have won a ton of awards and for good reason. Also, if you are a camper they belong to Harvest Host!
Settings and atmosphere are important to draw people to any winery and Cyprus Bend Vineyards have both. My wife Patsy and I spent the afternoon getting acquainted with this wonderful vineyard. Selena S. was our host as we sampled two flights of wine. We are partial to dry wines and our favorites were the Livy Estate white made from Muscadine grapes, and the Malbec 2018 red made from NC Malbec grapes. This lovely vineyard can accommodate events such as weddings and reunions.Thank you Selena for a wonderful afternoon.
