Some of the best authentic Jamaican food you'll find within a hundred miles. I highly recommend the jerk chicken if you like spicy food!

Today was my first visit and Mrs Angelee was so sweet and has good hospitality. She gave me a courtesy sunshine delight drink and it was good. The curry chicken, rice and beans, cabbage, and plantains is good too. I will be back

I walked in and knew I chose the right spot. The owner is very pleasant, nice clean atmosphere and she is not skimpy on the plates. The juices she makes from scratch whether you want healthy or sweet she has you covered. I highly recommend this restaurant. Wish I could give 10 stars

I've ate here multiple times. prior to this review.Rarely, do you get a restaurant where the food and service is aways consistent! The Owners and their staff are always welcoming, creating an "At home" atmosphere! My personal favorite are the Oxtails! And No, they are not stingy with the sauce! The food and service are well worth the price!Don't take my word, check it out yourself!

This restaurant truly captures the essence of the island's cuisine. I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas, and it was exceptional. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with a smoky, spicy kick, and the rice and peas complemented it beautifully with their rich, savory flavor. The dish was not only delicious but also authentically prepared. Highly recommended for anyone craving a taste of Jamaica!

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s one story so it is very wheelchair accessible.

The jerk chicken is out of this world! So good! I do not eat meat on a bone, however I cleaned these chicken legs so well that my husband was even surprised. Portions of meats and side are large. $13 dollars and I have 2 full meals! The owners are kind and service is wonderful. Do not skip on the coconut cake, it is so moist and light, and served hot! Definitely a 5 star place!

I recently visited 919 Island Cuisine in Wake Forest, and I had an amazing dining experience. I saw some enticing photos online and decided to give it a try.The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere with modern decor and comfortable seating. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the lighting created a cozy vibe perfect for a relaxing meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and promptly seated. Angelee, in particular, was wonderful and allowed us to sample the banana bread dessert, which was delicious. We started with the oxtails, peas and rice, and yellow rice with brown gravy. Every dish was cooked to perfection with a delightful blend of flavors. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was fresh and delicious. Angelee’s special blue punch was tasty and refreshing. We ended our meal with plantains, which were a perfect sweet ending to a great meal. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we received. I felt that we got excellent value for our money, and I was happy with the overall cost of our meal.Overall, my experience at 919 Island Cuisine was exceptional. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat in Wake Forest.
