Amalia's Authentic Italian Restaurant

Amalia's always knocks it out of the park. It is hands down my favorite restaurant. And the owner is incredibly kind.

Very nice romantic restaurant for special occasions. The food was great and nice wine selection. I loved that the Tiramisu was put together at the table and so good. The waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. The ambiance was very nice. Only complaint is that it is super expensive.

Perhaps just a bad evening but, despite outstanding service from Laura, we did not have the experience we would expect for the price.

The food is always excellent but we were seated next to a party of 8 they were very noisy. Our experience was very disappointing in comparison to our many other visits.

This is our first trip here with this ownership and what a positive improvement. The main reason my husband was hesitant to go back is because of the "old house smell", which is no longer there. The ambiance was wonderful, Amalias service is beyond excellent, the food was incredible and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great evening. Note: Shannon is an excellent server! The service was attentive and very knowledgeable. Shrimp appetizer was excellent. Pasta course was not very good, oily and rather odd tasting. Main course was short rib which was average, I shouldn't need a knife to cut it!. Dessert was pretty good. It's a relaxed dining experience and not rushed Overall not great food for the money

Excellent from start to finish. Every dish was amazing and the service from Lizzie was exceptional! High recommend this restaurant for special occasions or date nights or just a great meal.

Not a huge menu, all very original Italian dishes which were delicious. Wish they had a few more options in each of the categories

Everything was perfect. From the time we arrived, your host staff was kind and seated us right away. Logan, or server, was amazing and explained in detail the menu and drink options and he made our young staff feel very welcome and special. We appreciate the attention to detail. Thank you for making it a great night for us.

Amalia's is one of our favorite local spots. The historic house is such a charming location. The staff is always warm and friendly. The food is fantastic, and they focus on using quality ingredients, imported from Italy where possible. My favorite dish is the grilled romaine salad with house-made garlic and anchovy dressing (insalata estiva), which is amazing.

1st time here and couldn't have been more impressed. Was sat early and the waitress provided an excellent overview of menu and personal favorites. The drinks were excellent and food ranging from antipasta to main course was incredible. All around everyone was great and we look forward to going back.

Logan was our server and he suggested some of their best items on the menu. And oh boy he was right!! Everything was fantastic! We absolutely enjoyed our time there from its delicious food to yummy drinks. The service was top-notch as well. My Dirty Martini 🍸 was sooo good!!

Had an amazing experience and excellent meal. I had the Octopus with chickpeas puree which was so flavorful and tender. A good combination of spicy (not overwhelming hot) with the chickpea puree. My wife had the mushroom risotto with shrimp. We were celebrating our 24th Anniversary and again amazing service. Our host answered all of our questions since it was our first time and timed every course perfectly! She checked on use several time and was great! Highly recommend!

The food was absolutely phenomenal. The service was stellar, Logan was a treat to have as a server. The atmosphere was perfect, had a beautiful, romantic ambiance. Loved the fact that it’s located in an old home. Just perfect and I can’t wait to bring family back.

The best part for us was the atmosphere/ambiance. Very homie and comfortable, like eating in a friends dining room in their older traditional house. We never felt rushed or abandoned. The food was good, solid, and fairly interesting, but consistently over salted - and we do like salt. We felt that the lack of any sides with the main entrees was a little chinsy. The short-rib entree did not have any potatoes or vegetables on the plate. We had to order them separately. Nice presentation on the tiramisu, but we've had better. The wine list was good and the sommelier/bartender helpful if not expert. We would probably recommend this restaurant to a friend, but with reservations. (Pun intended).
