I’ve never had crisp bacon so greasy. Potatoes were gross and the eggs were cold. Soggy toast and tiny coffee sealed the deal.

Let me start by saying I work in food service so I assure you I am not trying to be picky but this place is a bit overrated. This was my first time ever eating at Brigs. The staff was friendly. I'll give them that much. I left in tears still hungry after ordering not one but 2 meals and the second meal wasn't even what I ordered, so I left hungry after paying $23 with a tip.
My server was nice. He gave me plenty of time to read the menu. I settled on a scrambled egg dish with grits and English muffin. It is virtually impossible to mess up these things I think but the eggs were extremely over cooked and dry and there was a pound of butter in the grits and on the muffin. I used the one napkin they gave me to soak the butter from the muffin and scooped as much butter as I could out of the grits. Yes I eat butter but this was way too much butter. The scramble dish was bland but I managed to scoop the toppings off onto the muffin to make an open faced toast thing. Towards the end of my meal I sat there trying not to cry because I was still hungry and disappointed. I think some hot sauce maybe could have saved it but I wasn't really offered much. I had to ask for another napkin to replace the one covered in butter.
I decided to order some of the pumpkin pancakes to go and fresh fruit, thinking...ok maybe I just ordered the worst things on the menu. When my to go order arrived I checked to make sure my whipped cream was on the side but it was missing entirely but then I realized these were not pumpkin pancakes but I wanted to ask the staff to be sure. I told myself maybe its ok and please don't freak out. Again... I'm still hungry.
The young lady at the register tells me they are not pumpkin pancakes and I request to remove the pancakes from my order and explain that it was my first time there and my food wasn't great and I just want something to eat. She said to my face that no one had ever complained to her before which made me again feel like I am being unreasonable. I had ordered extra pancakes to feed my teenagers who were at home but now there's also no breakfast for them. They tried also taking my fruit away and I had to ask for that back reminding them that I am still trying to get something to eat.
They were nice enough and I still paid and left a tip for my server but geez what a nightmare. And to think I had met the owner a few months back at my friend's birthday celebration and he encouraged me to come eat there and I finally treat myself to eating out and it was a circus.
I doubt I will return.

I come here with my mom and grandma every time I come visit. They are always slammed. But they get through the wait quickly it’s typically a 20-45 minute wait. They have great seasonal rotations. I love their French toast, pancakes and the almondnutmuff is delicious. I keep wanting to try their autumn avocado toast it sounds great! The lady at the front who’s worked here for 30 years always remembers my grandma Betty and makes her feel warm and welcome. With my gma’s memory problems it’s very kind and sweet that she remembers her and keeps her in the loop. 1000000/10. Wonderful place

The food here is pretty good and it's nice the specials change monthly. The service you receive is drastically different depending on which server you get.

Location is constantly busy, but it’s not a long wait. The inside looks outdated, but it seems they are doing some changes. The employees are very nice.
