The service was wonderful. I can say that but the food was horrible. I spent about $15 for that restaurant. I just ordered different things and it was not great. The hotdog bun was still the french fries tasted like they have been sitting under the light for a while, not a great atmosphere when you’re thinking of char grill now this Location and Wakeforest not the best but if you want great service, great food and it’s fresh maybe go to the one near NC State that might be your best bet near the college

Always getting something wrong when you drive through. I live close by and go here a fair amount. Sometimes it's better than others. You're better off dining in so you can get them to fix it if they get the order right. Tonight they missed something on the order and got toppings wrong on another thing. Some of the dudes working seem miserable and others actually try so who knows. Hit or miss.

Compared to other Char-Grill locations, this one is just not comparable. Burgers are overcooked, and the roll was smashed flat. Way too expensive for subpar burgers.

Char Grill has been my go-to burger joint for the past 15 years. This location is horrible. I ordered my steak JR combo and received it cold. I literally had to wait 20 minutes until my food was “ready” for it to be served cold to me. I pointed out to the cashier that the food was cold but she was looking at me like I was speaking another language. She couldn’t comprehend what I was telling her. Finally they decide to make my food over again. The embarrassing part for me was when the cashier/manager kept saying over and over “make sure his cheese is melted” as if he was trying to deliberately embarrass me. Whatever, who cares… when my food finally came out it had mayonnaise slopped all over the bottom of the bread. They literally used half a jar of mayo for my remake. These young kids don’t know customer service and or they just don’t care. I’ll attach some photos below for proof.

I ordered the 1/2 lb cheeseburgers with chili, mustard & onions. AWESOME. They even had malt vinegar to put on your French fries. YUM. Haven't had my fries this way since Long John Silvers restaurant.

Today I had the pleasure of eating at Char grill at Wake Forest and my experience was exceptional! I had a Hamburger Steak Jr. and a Hot dog and they were both delicious! The staff was excellent as well making you truly feel at home. One of the best burger experiences in North Carolina!!!

Char Grill is my favorite place to eat when I'm in North Carolina. The jr steak sandwich was amazingly delicious and I love the sweet apple turnover and ice cream milkshake. Thank you, I recommend to everyone. Salute from an Army Soldier!
