Chubby's Tacos Wake Forest

First time being there I will definitely be coming back. Great customer service. The lady at the register was very sweet and helpful. The food was amazing. It was a very enjoyable experience. Thank you.

This was a very disappointing meal.We got 4 different dishes, and they were all bland and flavorless. All the dishes basically just tasted like the shredded lettuce that was heaped on top of everything. The portions were large, but that just left us with big cheap styrofoam plates of soggy lettuce with some dry pieces of meat hiding in it. We are definitely not coming back considering all the other delicious options in the area.

Great authentic fresh Mexican food , amy the girl working was so friendly and polite it was fast and affordable loved the whole vibe and music i had a great experience

Chubby’s has been a go to spot for me to eat lunch and dinner. The food is always delicious, and the service is great. The food is out within 5 mins, and I finish the food within 5 mins. The queso that comes with the chips is the best I’ve ever had. Chubby’s is an awesome restaurant, and I think everyone needs to try it.

Terrible customer service. I stood in line 5 minutes and wasn’t acknowledged. One of the employees finally walked near the register and I told her that I needed to order. I asked her why she had not acknowledged me and she said that she was making sure the chips didn’t burn. I guess chips are more important than customers nowadays. Needless to say I left and went elsewhere.

Good tacos. Menu board wasn't working though. Staff was friendly but not very helpful

Went here one afternoon, ordered Baja ? and burrito. The restuarant was clean and inviting. I made my order and waited about 25-30 minutes for food! When I went up to cashier they asked for receipt that's when I found out the cashier handed me the wrong receipt ??‍♀️What seems to be the manager was very apologetic and gave us a few coupons for free tacos. They brought our food to their outdoor seating. Very nice staff.The food was bland barley any taste. The queso dip and chips were great! The sweet tea was also good. My food was not hot. I was disappointed because I really wanted to try a new place. Suggestions, season food including rice, beans and everything elseI wish you all the best.

First time at this location and it was so good! One thing I appreciate about Chubby's is that when you order "spicy" you actually get SPICY. I definitely measure places like this by that, but as well as how the proteins are cooked. I got a shrimp taco that was absolutely perfect! I ordered a little of everything...chorizo, shrimp, carnitas, etc. All were done well...simple, delicious ingredients. Definitely will be back!

I've enjoyed eating at Chubbys for several years, and they recently opened in Wake Forest after the Durant rd. shop closed. I've been to the Wake Forest location several times. The service is much better than you'd expect at this price. The cashier who gave me a heads up that the chicken tinga is pretty spicy, and the person who brought our food checked back to see if we needed a refill. The barbacoa enchiladas are excellent, the chorizo is also very good. The guacamole is better than a lot of higher priced Mexican places. Overall very happy with the service and the food.
