I had a really good experience at this Cold Stone. The store was clean, the ice cream was great, and the service was excellent. Harrison helped me out and did a great job. He was friendly, efficient, and made the whole visit pleasant. It’s nice to see employees who take pride in their work. I’ll definitely be back.
The ice cream was delicious and the service was 10/10! Grant and Bodie took great care of us.
Great ice cream, and the service from Grant and Bodie was exceptional
ordered from them on doordash. every single time they fail to properly seal the bag. every other place seems to be able to do this no issue. since today is a holiday, i did a long distance delivery at another cold stone. their bag was properly sealed. please do better. it’s not that hard to put a little extra effort to protect someone’s item. thank you.
Best ice cream in Wake Forest hands down!! Luke does such a fantastic job, and he is always so friendly and attentive. Visit this ColdStone and have Luke make your ice cream! You will not be disappointed!!
3 employees working, very attentive and personable with great customer service and recommendations.
So I typically I love this place. The kids who work here are always friendly and the ice cream is good. But I went in today around 2:40ish and just about melted. The kids were trying so hard to be their usual cheerful selves but you could see they were overheated. I hope the owner of this location truly appreciates these kids. Why would you even stay open under these conditions? Or if you really want to be open, send these poor kids home and work yourself. So my rating is based on my opinion of the person in charge deciding to stay open for something as non essential as ice cream under horrible conditions. The second star is only because of the effort that was put forth by the amazing kids that run this place even when it feels like it’s 100 degrees in the store.
I'm sorry. Just love every Cold stone I have ever visited because ice cream is my favorite dessert. The make it fresh and I love it.
All the staff work really hard and are very helpful and fun, and the ice cream quality is amazing
The shop was clean and well organized. I haven't been to Coldstone in years and was served on Thursday by a worker named Camryn. She was very polite and patient while taking my order. Will be back in the future!

The staff there is amazing! Highly recommend! :)
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Cold Stone Creamery today was absolutely unacceptable. I waited 45 minutes in line — yes, 45 minutes — only to leave without ever getting served. The line barely moved, and it was obvious the shop was completely overwhelmed and understaffed. There seemed to be no sense of urgency or organization among the employees, and the management clearly made no attempt to address the growing crowd or speed things up.
An ice cream shop should be a place of quick, happy service — not a frustrating test of patience. After nearly an hour wasted, I finally gave up and went elsewhere. Frankly, I don’t plan on ever returning to this Cold Stone again. With so many other ice cream options around, there’s no excuse for such poor service.
Extremely disappointed and absolutely not worth the wait.
Came in for 2 different kinds of ice cream… 2 banana puddings and the chocolate devotion. Im assuming the worker that helped us first was new because I said I wanted the banana pudding ice cream. I wasn’t paying attention to how she was fixing it because the other worker then came up and asked what else did we want, told her another banana pudding and a chocolate devotion. When I got home… I noticed my banana pudding ice cream didn’t have any of the banana pudding add-ins such as the wafers and whip cream. It was just banana ice cream! I thought it was common sense if a customer is naming the actual ice cream creation that the workers would know to put in the add-ins. The other worker added the add ins to the other banana pudding and the chocolate devotion without even questioning. The ice creams aren’t bad I’m just confused to why the original girl just gave me banana flavored ice cream without the add ins. Also all 3 ice creams were in a bag by the time I went to the register so, I didn’t even think to look at my ice cream before leaving.
Cold Stone Creamery sets their prices regionally to a point where they are virtually price gouging if you live in a nice area like Wake Forest. For example, if you order a large Midnight delight ice cream cake in Jackson Michigan, the price is $35.99; but if you order the same ice cream cake in Wake Forest, it’s $45.99. That’s a 28% prices increase. Ok, so maybe the cost of living that far away between stores can be different? So, Let’s compare prices of a closer store.
The Cold Stone location in Cary, NC is 23 miles from this store—it’s just on the other side of Raleigh. The Cary location sells a large (Gotta Have It) sized single serving signature creation for $8.19. This location sells the exact same product for $9.99. That’s a 22% markup!
The prices are ungodly high at this location, and it is clearly based upon geographical discrimination. Wake Forest is fast growing, and this particular location is near wealthy neighborhoods. Setting prices so much higher because of that is greedy and wrong. Until the owners of this store gets their act together with the prices, your money is best spent supporting smaller, and honest, family owned businesses like the Dairy Depot.
Manager was very friendly and made a very good cup of ice cream loaded with toppings and well mixed. No matter what size you order it usually comes out more and most employees try to cram it in a small cup then double cup it into a bigger cup. Which just wastes a cup. But the manager just put it into a bigger cup from jump street. Much appreciated.
