Dn Julio Restaurant is the place to go if you’re craving some amazing Mexican food! The service is top-notch, and the food is simply delicious. The manager, Leo, went above and beyond to provide us with exceptional customer service, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Been coming to this restaurant since arriving in NC from California in 2021. Consistently the best Mexican food in the Raleigh area. Definitely order the table side Guacamole. The Staff is excellent even when the tables are full.

Went today for lunch. Chips and salsa were great. Chip are awesome, thin and with just the right amount of salt. Service was very slow today, 10+ minutes before waiter came to take our order, hence more salsa and chips. Mexican street tacos were delicious especially the pork and chicken. Beef was a bit overcooked for my liking. Charro beans a bit bland. Friend had a combo with chili relleno and hard shell taco with rice /beans. The chili relleno was superb, one of the best I have had in North Carolina. The only thing was was a bit confusing was the convenience fee which I am assuming it was for the second salsa. I didn't ask so can only assume. I have heard that many mexican restaurants are charging for additional chips and or salsa. If that is the case, they should put salsa.

Somethings changed since they revamped the menu. Not sure what it is but the food isn’t nearly as good. And the sauce on the tamales? Tastes like chef boyardee- used to love this place but not sure if I’ll be back.

Don Julio is THE go to, Hispanic Comfort Food place. They’re like Family! Whether you have a large party or just want to sit outside on a warm day this place has you covered. It’s hard to financially feed a family these days. It’s rare to spend as little as I do at Don Julio.
Grateful for this place!!

My husband, some of his coworkers and I often go. As my husband works in the same shopping area as the restaurant. I do recommend the tamales and my husband and his coworker likes the 'street' tacos the most. I do wish they had food spicy. Being from Colorado they would ask how spicy would you like it. The staff know us and we like talking with one ladies that comes over to us most time. But over all we like Don Julio and it is one of out go to places for lunch and after work dinners.
