Servicio es muy bien! Food is overall good with the right amount of cilantro and garlic. Shrimp 🍤 would be better if it were boiled prior to roasting, unboiled shrimp is very difficult to peel. Overall, I recommend it. 👌

El Chapin had quickly become my favorite restaurant in Wake Forest. Very very very good. Super authentic Guatemalan food. Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible restaurant! My family and I were visiting this area and lucked upon this place. We ate at 10 restaurants the past week and we agreed this is the place we'd most want to come back to. Everyone's dishes were exceptional. I had an incredible steak dish -Churrasquito- see photo. We also tried their chili rellenos, tamale, pinchos de camaron, and taquitos. All were wonderful! The service was also top notch. Our server's name was Cris. He was very friendly, helpful, and attentive.
Highly recommend!

Great menu, friendly people and the food was very tasty along with the house made drinks. My only complaint was the crema and rice and chicken were lukewarm almost cool. I enjoyed the taste but I wish it was served steaming hot. Please be mindful of the temperature of the food youre putting out. Very good otherwise.

I have been to restaurants all around the triangle. I have been living here for 35 years now, this is my first time trying El Chapin and I can highly recommend this spot. Its very authentic.

The food is too delicious! And they are very friendly! 10/10 I have been to 2 of their locations and it is the same authentic flavor of our beautiful Guatemala ??

Placed an online order, turns out the store was closed despite their website saying they were open. Very disappointing to drive all the way there and come back with nothing to show for it.

It have seen it before. In the beggining everything is delicious and the food is excellent. Then as time goes by the quality decreseas, they start cutting corners and at the end, they are forced to close. All this could be avoided if the quality would remain the same. Too bad this seems to be where this place is going. Even the music was too loud. Never going back.

Got there an hour before they closed and they were already mopping the dining room with a chemical that smelled horribly. Killed any appetite I had when I walked in. I didn't even order.

Great food and service. Loved the meal I had. It was tamales and a steak and shrimp entree. So flavorful.

Their guacamole is out of this world, it might be the best I've ever had. Their chips are made fresh and the employees are always friendly. When friends visit from out of town, I take them here because I know it'll be a good meal. I'll keep coming back!
