Been to Gooey’s several times and each time has been great. Their roast beef grill cheese is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had, so much so I haven’t tried anything else so far. Some family member have tried a variety of sandwiches though and all got rave reviews.

Cons: Fountain soda machine wasn't working and bathroom was outdated.Pros:. Cheese curds (5 stars!), BLT, fries, and Turkey Sandwich were all amazing. Kids grilled cheese was a bit dry.Overall, would def eat again.

After visiting the pumpkin patch we were very hungry. Looked up a few restaurants and this place seemed interesting. Headed here and was seated without a wait. Asked the cashier what she enjoyed and ordered her recommendation...the roast beef sandwich! Boy was it delicious. We also ordered funnel cake fries and they were great also! My only complaint is that I wish they served more funnel cake fries. Definitely will return.

We decided to eat here for our 20th Anniversary lunch date. The cheeseburgers was amazing and so were the homemade chips and fries. Friendly service. Only complaints; the table was sticky, and the waitstaff were not wearing mask.

On top of great food (I love the grilled cheese with bacon, it feels like a throwback to the great local diner food I would have with my family growing up), their customer service is top-notch. There was an issue with the online ordering system not knowing they were closed on Labor Day and when I contacted them the next day, the refund was processed with minutes. When I couldn't tell where the refund was sent to (I used Apple Pay), they spent the time researching it and volunteered to refund me cash if it didn't show up. They kept in touch throughout the process. It wasn't a large amount of money, but they took care of everything as you would hope. Finally, you cannot beat the guilty pleasure of the funnel fries.

Ok. So I visited this place a while back and at the very end of our meal realized that there was a hair in our food. Figured it was just an unfortunate mistake and left. My kids wanted grilled cheese and we were in the area so called in an order. First off, their website was not working. Second, I am not about to pay MORE money to place a pickup order on Grubhib. When I called, there was no answer. Called a second time and the woman was so preoccupied with in store orders that she got our order wrong three times. Not to mention my hold time of almost five minutes. Picked up and all was well, food was fine but it's just not anything special. Really wanted this place to be awesome, but after two visits, months apart? Can't get with it.
Gooey's American Grille has amazing grilled sandwiches and mac n cheese options. The chicken mac n cheese is especially yummy. The staff here is super friendly and provides the best service. There are options to dine inside or outside, and your furry friend is welcome to sit with you and enjoy some water or a pup cup while you eat in front of the restaurant. Once you finish your meal, try one of the 30 flavors of Hershey's hand scooped ice cream for dessert. Gooey's is a great option for lunch or dinner, 7 days a week.

Service was pretty terrible this evening. They saw us come in and no one came to take our order. When someone finally did, she wasn't very nice and the workers were yelling at one another. They seemed very young and inexperienced. She forgot our salad and the food was just mediocre. Overall a pretty rough experience. We most likely will not be back.
