Donna was our waitress! Very polite and knowledgeable!! Donna didn’t get mad when I asked her to repeat herself about different popular menu items and what the dishes consisted of. Will be back!

So this place doesn’t specify that certain pizzas can be ordered in only one size which is XL. And the XL pizza does not fold but falls apart. Not a good way to do business. As a small business owner I’d like to promote more small businesses but shady practices are not what I like

I have been traveling for work and found myself at Il Bacio weekly during my last stay in Wake Forest. You can tell it is a family run business that takes great pride in its’ food and customer satisfaction. Every time I have been there, the service has been top notch and the food delicious, with more than generous portions. Jess is a blast behind the bar whose drinks are almost as good as her personality, and Francesca is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in the family business. Don’t miss this place if you’re looking for great food at good prices in the most welcoming environment!

Service was great! Food was a huge let down! Music was painful.

I'm new to the area and was craving pasta. I felt pretty good about my choice when I walked in and heard the staff speaking Italian. The music playing though… awful! It was like Italian edm mixed with a what I’d hear on a kids music station. There were commercials playing between songs, multiple times, as well. I was there less than 45 mins.

I tried to stay hopeful throughout the meal, but was continually disappointed. The salad was the first edible let down. I got a caesar salad and the dressing was more of a vinegrette than a creamy caesar. It was pretty bland. Bread came out with the salad, and it was another bummer. It wasn't very warm and the butter served with was like what you see at a fast food place to put on a biscuit. It was tough and not worth it. I got the penne a la vodka with chicken as my main course. It came out quickly and piping hot which is great! Not great, was that it had little to no flavor. I'd have preferred a frozen pasta from the grocery store in the same plaza over what I got. I added parmesan, red pepper and salt and it was still blah. It was also REALLY watery, and the chicken added was over cooked. I tried to use some bread to soak up the watery sauce, but the bread was still not doing it for me.

I am not one to complain and ask for money back, so I ate what I could and took the rest home to possibly doctor up later. Overall, I learned where I won’t be eating again. Maybe the pizza is better. I did see a few takeout pizza boxes heading out the door. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Food is bland and low quality but extremely overpriced.

Clearly gouging their customers.

Disappointing at best. The server was sweet and the restaurant looks clean and in a convenient location.

Food was all bland (except the garlic knots!), and shockingly overpriced. Fortunately their pasta entrees are huge so I could box it and fix it at home. I just can’t believe I paid as much as I did.

Great restaurant with friendly staff, lots of parking and easy access off of Rogers Road.
The menu has something for everyone and their pizza is some of the best in the area. Get the Sicilian pizza, you won't be disappointed!

Overall Score: 2.3/10 – A visually appealing Italian spot with timely service but overpriced and underwhelming food that fails to justify its cost.

Atmosphere and Service: 6.0/10 – The restaurant looks great both inside and out, with a clean and well-maintained interior. The staff seemed nice, and the food was ready on time. However, the online menu, while offering customization and plenty of options, lacked detail about the dishes, which could leave customers uncertain about what they’re ordering.

Mozzarella Sticks: 1.1/10 – Extremely disappointing for the $12 price tag. The taste was average at best, with nothing unique to make the dish stand out. The portion size was small, making this feel like a rip-off.

Penne Alfredo with Chicken: 2.2/10 – A very underwhelming dish, especially given the price of over $20. The Alfredo sauce lacked any discernible flavor, leaving the dish bland and uninspired. The chicken was small in portion and very dry, further detracting from the overall experience. For the cost, this dish was far below expectations.
