We were greeted with a friendly smile and sat down at a table immediately! But that’s where the good experience ended…when we were seated our need for a highchair was acknowledged by our server. We sat with our 1 year old for 15min waiting for the highchair while we watched our server walk past us multiple times. Eventually realized that we were forgotten and went to get the high chair from the corner where all of the high chairs were stored ourselves. The highchair strap was broken so our toddler could easily climb out. We ordered 2 waters with lemon to start. Waters arrived 10min later with no lemon. No refills for waters or chips provided throughout the entire meal despite empty glasses/baskets. Sides for our child’s meal were never delivered. Milk cup for kids meal was an adult cup that the child couldn’t hold himself. The kids quesadilla came out 10 minutes after everyone else’s meal and was so hot the kid couldn’t eat it for a while so needless to say he was impatient. Kids meals, especially toddlers come out first and they don’t come out so hot that the adult can’t touch it let alone the kid. We had to find our server to ask for the check since we had sat there with empty plates for a while. When we checked out we tried to tell the lady at the register that we never received part of our order and she was argumentative saying that we were not charged for the sides. This of course did not change the fact that the food served did not match what we ordered. There was an automatic 8.25% charge which we assumed to be tip on our bill, then we were also asked for a tip added to that. Had it been up to us a tip was not earned. The food that actually was served was subpar. The Pollo Fundido had a minimal amount of cheese for being a cheese covered dish. The atmosphere was outdated and the fish tank in the entrance was disgusting and had not been cleaned on a while. Will not be returning.

Best Mexican food in the area! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The salsa verde is spicy, but in the best way possible coming from a big salsa verde fan! Would highly recommend!

Food and drinks were fantastic. Service was so-so. Ran out chips a couple times and had to ask for more. One of the margaritas came without salt when salt was ordered. Asked for water a couple times before it was brought. Everyone was friendly and polite, just not very attentive. Facilities could use a refresh. This is a very good place to eat that with a little improvement could be fantastic.

Favor favor favor! The food was delicious and seasoned well. I had the ACP modified with ground beef. I also had the queso and strawberry margarita.I gave it an overall four star because of the atmosphere. It is not a first date destination if you want to impress. However, it is a good place to get a HOT good meal. I will return.

Really excellent food, made in-house. The kitchen takes pride in their work. Certainly in the top 10% of Mexican restaurants in Wake County. Menu was extensive but not pretentious. This isn't some place that is going to serve you some kind of elevated take on a theoretical concept and charge you twice what they should for you to be impressed with their clever artistic styling. It's just good Americanized Mexican food, like what we've had in the US since the early 1970s (and, yeah, the place looks like it is still in the 1970s). Portions were impressive in size. Service was good. Prices weren't bad.

Really good flavor, wait staff, even the staff that wasn't our waiter asked if we needed anything. They were polite and the polblano rellano was awesome!

UHmazing service, everyone is personable, funny and kind!! The food is the best Mexican in the triangle, atmosphere included, so cozy and very comforting. They make you feel right and home! I love the fried cream burritos, the dogs amigos, and the shrimp chimichangas, deliciouso!! I would give 20 stars I'd I could, so yummy!

Pretty good Mexican food. No draft beer but margaritas we’re very good!! I had the mixed fajitas with chicken, steak and shrimp which was fresh and tasty. My wife had the chimichanga dinner which she really enjoyed.

Perplexed by the good reviews. Service was extremely slow and the restaurant was dingy and cramped. We were pointed toward a table, and sat for awhile without anyone coming by. Finally, we were given menus straight off another table, after those people ordered, and they weren’t wiped down. After that, we were never checked on, so we had ask for napkins, for refills, for the check etc. Queso was watery and very bland. 2 dishes came out before the rest, a few minutes later another dish came out, 5 minutes later the rest came out. There was never an explanation… instead of a “sorry yours will be right out next!”, they’d just drop the dishes and walk away. We were left forgotten with the choice between letting dishes get cold, or having someone finish half their meal before the next person’s arrived. Tried to support local, but there are far better restaurants in the area that actually make an effort.

The flavor of our food was underwhelming, temperature of our food luke warm when it arrived at our table, and the overall ambiance screamed of a bar from the 1990s that got left behind in the rust belt. Furthermore, our table was "cleaned" but had sticky residue on the table and menus. Nice staff, but overworked.

I don't often times give a negative experience for a Mexican restaurant, but here I will. Service was terrible. Had to ask for a coke 3 times. Food was subpar. And the dusty light fixture was hanging right in my face (glad I'm not allergic to dust....). Will not be returning nor recommending to anyone.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not, down steep steps into a "basement"

Man was this place amazing! I can't believe we've live here for so long without checking it out! We went as a family of 5 on a busy night and the place was so lively! Seated right away and treated like family. So much smiling and so much fun! All of the staff were great!

First time I went they gave me watery nachos said I wasn't coming back. This time hospitality was horrible. Guy asked me what did I want, attitude horrible seated me then asked me if I wanted take out smh. The whole time I was there no one came to my table to see if I wanted anything. I did see the same guy laughing at other tables and treated another guy like me same but he ordered take out. Place is for certain kind of people!! Never again!!
