Lumpy's is the pinnacle of what you would imagine a classic ice cream store to be! Buck (the owner) is always going to be sure to treat you like a long-time friend and give you the details of each ingredient that he makes the ice cream with. The emphasis they have on putting natural ingredients into their product make it that much easier to eat!
7/4/24 So I’m visiting from out of state my Aunt lives here and suggested going to Lumpy’s for ice cream. This evening we went and omg the service here is top tier!!! You’re greeted very warmly and allowed to sample as many ice cream flavors as you want!!! Alot of the flavors are to die for…the value of ice cream is massive for the price you pay… I didn’t think I would ever stop eating my cone of strawberry ice cream!!! I will be back before leaving we truly enjoyed...
We had ice cream cravings late at night and were lucky that they served us right at closing time. I tried the ice cream nachos with some "adult" ice cream (Drambuie), and it was fantastic. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and we bought four pints to take home—everyone loved them. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the place was very clean. There's a small parking area available as well.
