We had a large group at Mackey's and was seriously disappointed at the food preparation of the hamburgers and the chicken strips. One burger that was supposed to be medium was seriously overcooked and two burgers that were medium rare were very rare. The one order of chicken was also seriously overcooked and dry. Our group has gone there often and this is probably the worst meals we have had and hamburgers should be straight forward.

My 2nd time. Locally owned. Owner from New Orleans area which would explain the crayfish etoufee dish. Alcohol is the same everywhere but the food is what makes the difference. Phenomenal food with generous portions. A classic neighfborhood bar / hangout. I'll be back for a third time.

Foods amazing. Drinks great!... till I saw the roaches cruising around, not water bugs that sneak in from outside... actual german roaches.. at least 2..yea..staff are nice as heck too. they even smashed one into the bar infront if us. Not even the one in the picture! I'm out. Gl on your biz. I'm going home to reenact the shower scene from the crying game.If the owner or manager reads this, the only acceptable response is a notification you've had a professional deal with this.
