The service and the food were great!!

My family and I recently celebrated my June birthday at Mellow Mushroom in Wake Forest. The entire staff was friendly, every person we passed spoke to us, and our server Lilly was an absolute delight. We had wings, cheese pizza, a calzone, and a gluten free Kosmic Karma that were all of exceptional quality. Lilly even surprised me with a (free!) birthday pretzel in the shape of a flower because I mentioned how my father and I love lillies and flowers after she introduced herself. That was incredibly thoughtful and it honestly made my day. My dad wasn't half way through lunch and was making plans to return for his own birthday.. in April.. but I'm willing to bet we make it back to see you guys before then! Thank you Lilly and thank you Mellow Mushroom! ❤️ 🍄 🍕

I had issues with slow service and misunderstanding and the manager that was on duty starts being rude at my bf and disrespecting him instead of finding a solution, last time I had better service and friendliness .

This review has been a long time coming but let me just say my first impression of this restaurant was absolutely phenomenal!! Not just because of my love for mushrooms but the overall vibe of this place. 🍄From the staff being super friendly, to the service being fast and efficient, I did not see one single thing wrong with this place. My boyfriend and I are from out of state so to experience something new like this was so cool! Both the drinks and food pair very well together. All the different flavors of the pizzas blending well together to the drinks being light and refreshing with a little kick if you decide to spike them. 😋 It makes you wish your stomach was big enough to try everything it’s that good! When we went we got Audrey. Now can I just say if you ever get her as your server you’re pretty lucky. Not only does she know the menu very well but she’s an amazing conversationalist and is the person that would make you keep coming back to this restaurant. She gave my boyfriend and I an experience we will never forget! When we get back home we are going to see which is the closest Mellow Mushroom because this has become our favorite pizza joint!

We definitely had a newer server but having been in the food industry before, we totally get it. Server was still kind and attentive. We loved the food as the pizza and wings always come out hot! Will be back!

Mellow Mushroom Wake Forest is a great place to get customized pizza at a reasonable price. Excellent service and a delicious selection of menu items. A best choice for neighborhood pies.

Best pizza in town Good salads too.

The service was great but the pizza and sauce wasn’t all that good the marinara sauce taste like tomato paste.
