Each build your own pizza starts with the classic Mellow pizza crust, red sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Select ingredients to build your own pizza. Ingredients can be added to the whole pizza or just one-half of the pizza. Thin crust, gluten-free crust (available for small pizzas only) and vegan cheese also available.

My family and I recently celebrated my June birthday at Mellow Mushroom in Wake Forest. The entire staff was friendly, every person we passed spoke to us, and our server Lilly was an absolute delight. We had wings, cheese pizza, a calzone, and a gluten free Kosmic Karma that were all of exceptional quality. Lilly even surprised me with a (free!) birthday pretzel in the shape of a flower because I mentioned how my father and I love lillies and flowers after she introduced herself....

This review has been a long time coming but let me just say my first impression of this restaurant was absolutely phenomenal!! Not just because of my love for mushrooms but the overall vibe of this place. 🍄From the staff being super friendly, to the service being fast and efficient, I did not see one single thing wrong with this place. My boyfriend and I are from out of state so to experience something new like this was so cool! Both the drinks and food pair very well together....

We definitely had a newer server but having been in the food industry before, we totally get it. Server was still kind and attentive. We loved the food as the pizza and wings always come out hot! Will be back!
